00:00I want to get a sense from you of how you see Washington today. Where are we?

00:05I'd use the words nervous and anxiety and real high anxiety in Washington just because there's

00:10so much uncertainty. And what we remembered from the Trump years that we had forgotten for four

00:15years under Biden was that there was a constant churning of news. Quite often you would forget

00:20on Thursday what you were talking about on Monday. That's really true now. But it's even more so

00:25with a relentlessness from this administration on executive orders and things in a way that

00:30we just haven't seen done before. And as you know, when I worked at the Republican National

00:34Committee and in House Republican leadership, we talked about Barack Obama's imperial presidency

00:38because he was signing a lot of executive orders. Trump has blown by that at record speed. And it's

00:45why people are really struggling to keep up. That's obviously by design as well.
