Transcript
00:00if you're a burgundy and gold fan it's important to remember that jim ursay was the first nfl owner
00:05to come out and say the nfl needed to get rid of dan snyder they had to consider but he said it
00:10publicly he said it very publicly um i mean that was a huge huge moment in the eventual sale of
00:19the team and i think his his willingness to speak the truth and take the arrows if you will was
00:27critical in in the transformation once he spoke others started to let stuff out um i'll be very
00:37curious if the colts you know eventually come up for sale uh ursay was survived by three daughters
00:44his oldest daughter i believe it's his oldest daughter um i could be wrong on that um but his
00:53his daughter he his daughter i believe it's carly ursay gordon has been kind of the voting member
01:02of the colts ownerships at these owners meetings for the last couple years um and i i think the
01:10the intention is not to sell this team whatsoever um you know things can change over time but i
01:17wouldn't expect any sort of changes like that in the immediate seasons um he seemed like a pleasant
01:25man a fun man he was really philanthropic in the indiana area and loved music had like a crazy guitar
01:32collection um no ill words to say about jim ursay here and i hope he and his family and all those
01:40impacted by this get uh get what they need and um condolences to the fam indeed safe home jim we'll be
01:47right back
