00:00It's like, you would never be from Nebraska. You had like acrylic nails.
00:09Did either of you have fake IDs in college and how did you get them?
00:13Mine was my, um, my brothers and we look nothing alike.
00:18He's older than I, but DC didn't seem to care. Yeah, but it was real. So it wasn't fake. It
00:24was like his actual ID, which I think was, was what really set me apart. And yeah.
00:29I tried so hard to get this fricking thing. I, I sent $200 to so many different people,
00:35some on the internet, some as a part of you'd sign it. You'd like get a group together and everybody,
00:41people were just constantly taking $200 from children. A guy in Vineyard Vines is like,
00:45send me, send me the Venmo. He's like, so I never got it. I never got it. That's very Carmen.
00:53Yeah. Oh yeah. Oh my God. I had one in high school. Same.
00:56But mine, mine, mine didn't look anything like me. Also, I was so gay in high school
01:02and mine was from like, oh, uh, name of, I think it was like Nebraska or something. And it's like,
01:06you would never be from Nebraska. You had like acrylic nails.
01:09Yeah. It's like, I, I loved my fake IDs.
01:11Did it work?
01:12All the time. I still, I still have it.
01:14I still have mine and mine was like, I picked them. I grew up in New York. I went to high
01:19school in New York and my friends and I went to meet this guy to pick them up off the street.
01:23Like, thank God I'm still here. And he was great. And, uh, my picture was super distorted. So my face
01:30was really narrow and it was also super blurry. And I was like, I remember at the time I was like,
01:34wow, I look really good at this picture. All right. That's, that's good. It's hard to trace,
01:38I guess. I am McLovin. My friend Mia,
01:43whose last name is Potter. They thought that her double T's were an H. So for her high school
01:49experience, she was Mia Poher. And every time she got carded, she was like, Poher is the last name.
01:56And it was always so, it cracked me up. I had one and it got taken away the night I turned 21.
02:03So it kind of felt really like a beautiful, spiritual moment.
02:06Can I tell you something? That's a full circle moment.
02:08It was, I was going in to not even drink to just meet someone at a karaoke place in Chicago.
02:12And he was like, this isn't real. And I was like, it's not.
02:15What? You live in a college town.
02:18And I was like, and tomorrow I turned 21. It was mostly just for experiences,
02:22like concerts and stuff. You know, I wasn't really using it that much to, yeah, it's weird.
02:27It's like, we make so much stuff legal at 18. It's like, let's go to the concert.
02:30When my boyfriend's fake got taken away at a bar in New York,
02:33I remember I was sobbing. I was absolutely sobbing.
02:38It just really, it's really emotional to get a fake taken away from you.
02:41Your identity is being taken away.
02:43It's really emotional.
02:44It feels like you're kind of out of sync with your life.
02:47I did have a fake ID. My sisters were a little bit too old for me to pass as them.
02:52So my gay best friend's cousin, Emily Cotton, she was from Massachusetts.
02:58And she really got me through those late teen early, you know, into 20.
03:04And then finally, when I turned 21, I got to retire Emily Cotton.
03:06But I knew all the information.
03:08I don't remember her address.
03:09Sadly, you guys could send her letters.
03:10But I'm thankful for, yeah, my gay, my gay best friend's cousin, Emily.
03:15Do you remember her birthday?
03:17No, but I remember it being a good one.
03:19Okay, good.
03:20Mine was confiscated the first name I tried to use it.
03:23Why? But didn't you drink at 18?
03:24The drinking age is 18.
03:26I know, I tried to go clubbing when I was like 17.
03:28And I borrowed it from a guy in the year above me.
03:30And he had the same surname as me and his first name again with an S,
03:33which is the same as my father.
03:34So I took my dad's like credit card as like backup proof in case they questioned me.
03:39To be like, no, look, it's me because here's my card.
03:41Right.
03:42Here's my card.
03:42You had a whole plan.
03:43And then they wanted to take the card too.
03:44And I was like, my dad's going to kill me to take the ID.
03:48London don't play around.
03:49London don't mess.
03:49Did you have a fake?
03:50It's crazy.
03:50I didn't have a fake.
03:51I think like I got, there was this guy named Robert Way, so big old Robert Way.
03:57I remember he, he gave me his ID, but I was too scared to use it.
04:00So I just, yeah, I was, I always, my dream was always to come to America from Canada.
04:07So I was like, I can't play with the law, otherwise I'll never be a movie star.
04:10So yeah, I didn't talk about it.
04:11Good planning.
04:12You're smart.
04:12You're sensible.
04:13Yeah.
04:14Yeah.
04:15Good planning.
04:16Thanks, Robins.
04:17Yeah.
04:24Yeah.
04:26Yeah.
04:28Yeah.
04:28Yeah.
04:28Yeah.
04:31Yeah.
04:31Yeah.
04:32Yeah.
04:34Yeah.
04:37Yeah.
04:38Yeah.
04:39Yeah.
04:42Yeah.
04:43Go.
