00:00Thank you, Madam Speaker. Last week, House committees moved the last sections of President
00:08Trump's one big, beautiful bill out of the respective committees. In the Energy and Commerce
00:14Committee, I was proud to support our legislation to unleash American energy, foster innovation in
00:22our telecommunications industry, and strengthen Medicaid programs by ensuring that it works best
00:29for the intended groups—children, pregnant women, seniors, and those with disabilities.
00:36This legislation also fulfills President Trump's campaign promises of ending tax on tips,
00:43tax on overtime, and tax on Social Security, and permanently extends President Trump's 2017 tax
00:51cuts, which ushered in unprecedented growth. This one big, beautiful bill also further
00:59backs President Trump's incredible progress securing our southern border by funding 700 miles of new
01:06border wall construction, nearly 1,000 miles of new river barriers, and additional frontline personnel
01:14at our southern border. President Trump's historic victory in November came with a mandate from the
01:21American people. Now it is our time in Congress to fulfill these promises, and I look forward to doing
01:28just that on the House floor this week by passing one big, beautiful bill. Thank you.
01:43Madam Speaker, just one month into President Trump's term in office, he signed a historic executive order to
01:50designate the Sinaloa Cartel as a foreign terrorist organization. This action allows for further
01:57collaboration among law enforcement agencies and additional resources from the federal government
02:03to track down and punish these criminals. President Trump also started a narco-terrorism unit
02:10within the Department of Justice, whose sole focus is tracking down and capturing the cartel leaders
02:17who have ravaged our nation with their poisons. Just last week, the Trump administration formally
02:23indicted the leaders of the Sinaloa Cartel on charges of narco-terrorism, drug trafficking,
02:30and money laundering. While this might be the first action taken by the unit, it sends a clear-cut
02:36message to the cartel leaders who have waged war on the citizens of this great country by trafficking
02:43deadly poisons that have taken the lives of millions of Americans. This ends now, and I fully support
02:51President Trump's actions to hold these terrorists to account. Thank you.
