The man accused in the crash that killed nine Federal Reserve Unit (FRU) personnel has been rearrested, just moments after being released on police bail.  Bagan Datuk OCPD Superintendent Mohammad Ali Mohd Jali said on Monday (May 19) that the 45-year-old is now suspected of involvement in the theft of two cows reported on April 14 in Kampung Sungai Keli, Hutan Melintang. 00:20in the Teluk Intan Magistrates Court compound on Monday, following a report lodged on April 14

00:26over the theft of two cows from Kampung Sungai Keli in Hutan Merlintang.

00:31Superintendent Muhammad Ali said police will seek a remand order on Tuesday to facilitate the investigation.

00:38Earlier, the man, a lorry driver, had been allowed bail after he claimed trial on May 16

00:44to nine counts of causing death by dangerous driving.

00:48He had initially been remunded until the next court mention on June 17,

00:51but was released on Monday after his employer posted bail.

00:56The deadly crash occurred on May 13 along Jalan Chiku Sungai Lampam,

01:01killing nine FRU personnel and injuring nine others.

01:05Six of the injured remain hospitalized, five at Hospital Teluk Intan

01:10and one at Hospital Raja Permaisuri by noon, while the rest have been discharged.
