00:00Today we're gonna go over how to properly use a manual handheld breast pump.

00:04So first of course you're gonna want to take the nipple off so you can attach

00:10your pump. Twist it on there very good so it does not leak out and then you can

00:15expose your breasts ensuring that it is clean. Wait for a proper suction and

00:20then it latches onto the nipple. You can just pump it briefly until either your

00:27breast gets tender or you're done lactating and pumping then you can go

00:33ahead and move on to the other side and pump. It's really really easy. Breast

00:41milk is really good for your little one and when you're done pumping if your

00:45little one is not trying to eat, whether he or she has latching on problems or

00:50whatever it may be, you could always just take it and refrigerate it. If you plan on

00:55feeding the same day, if not you can just stick it in the freezer to ensure it
