Paul Spadafora - Is an American former professional boxer who competed in the Lightweight division. He is the former IBF lightweight champion of the world and has challenged once for a regional Super Lightweight title. In 2020, he was inducted into the Pennsylvania Boxing Hall of Fame. Spadafora was known for his slickness in which he implemented a shoulder roll style defense and excellent counter-punching. He first won his IBF world title when he upset Israel Cardona in 1999 by unanimous decision. He then went on to defend his world title successfully 8 times before vacating it and then competing sporadically over the next 10 years. Spadafora retired with a professional record of 49-1-1 (19 KO's), only losing a fight in his 2nd to last bout.
