02:39telling the jury about the so-called freak-off parties
02:42she says she was forced to participate in
02:44with paid sex workers.
02:46And, in a stunning twist,
02:47she testified that one of those escorts
02:49is the same man awaiting trial
02:52for a shooting at President Trump's Miami Golf Club.

04:22That was at the request of the defense,
04:24so it would be a little less obvious
04:26that she is in her ninth month of pregnancy.

04:35This was the chaotic scene she returned home to
04:38after her first grueling day of testimony.
04:41This is something that I think
04:42very few people in the world could do,

04:46and to talk so straightforwardly
04:48about details, most intimate,
04:51what she says are humiliating details of her life.
04:54And she is answering every question,
04:56I think, as best she can.
04:58Witnesses say some of the jury gasped
05:01and appeared shocked
05:02as videos of those freak parties
05:03were played in court.
05:04Lyle and Eric Menendez
05:06are eligible for parole immediately
05:09in a surprisingly fast ruling.
05:11A California judge re-sentenced the two brothers
05:14to 50 years to life
05:15for the 1989 murders of their parents.
05:18They had been sentenced to life without parole.
05:20As Jim Murray reports,
05:22those brothers could soon be freed.

05:26breaks her silence
05:27after the judge's stunning decision
05:30to re-sentence the brothers.
05:31Talia, you walked into this courtroom hopeful today.
05:34How do you feel now?
05:35I'm relieved and hoping
05:38they get out right away with the parole board.
05:41Did you imagine this event today?
05:44I always imagined it, actually, yeah.
05:46I just never thought it would be here so soon.
05:48Talia's mother is Tammy Menendez,
05:50who's married to Eric.

05:54In the minutes leading up to the judge's decision,
05:56the brothers appeared nervous,
05:57fidgeting in their seats.
05:58At times, Lyle appeared to be visibly shaking.
06:01Then they both addressed the court
06:03and their family members,
06:04taking full responsibility
06:05for what they admitted was an atrocious act,
06:08viciously shooting their parents over and over.
06:10Menendez's attorney, Mark Geragos,
06:12and family members were thrilled
06:14with the judge's decision
06:15to re-sentence the Menendez brothers.
06:17Talia wiped away tears.
06:19Mark, around Thanksgiving,
06:20you said, I want them to be home by then,
06:22and people said it's never gonna happen.
06:24What do you think a realistic timeline is now
06:26to finally see freedom for the brothers?
06:28I've said ever since my failed prediction
06:31of Thanksgiving dinner
06:33that 2025 would be their year.
06:36But today, Los Angeles D.A. Nathan Hockman told me
06:39the brothers are not ready to be released.
06:42The Menendez brothers have not justified
06:45the request for rehabilitation and re-sentencing
06:50at this point.
06:51Menendez family members believe the brothers' release
06:54could be imminent.

07:21that $400 million plane.
07:23As Les Trump reports, the president was so impressed
