01:14Exclusive video.
01:15I'm not wrestling you.
01:16Wait.
01:17That means no.
01:18No, no, no, no.
01:19And Miss Sourpuss?
01:21Woo!

01:40Then, the Kim Kardashian robbery trial.
01:44I'm in Paris as the TV personality will finally come face-to-face with the so-called grandpa bandits accused of robbing her.
01:52Plus, stop that cheerleader.
01:54Stop!
01:55Stop your car.
01:56Plowing through a crowded street festival because she's late for work.
02:01I can't get the word!
02:03Now, Inside Edition with Deborah Norville.
02:06Hello, everybody, and thank you for joining us.
02:10Opening arguments in the trial of hip-hop mogul Sean Diddy Combs.
02:14He's accused of running a criminal enterprise to coerce women into having sex.
02:19Eight men and four women will hear the evidence, and so will members of Combs' family.
02:24As Les Trump reports, they were out in full force as prosecutors laid out their case.
02:30Sean P. Diddy Combs' family arrived for day one of his sex trafficking trial.
02:35How is your father feeling today?
02:37They walked into the federal courthouse in Manhattan, hand-in-hand, in a gesture of solidarity.
02:43Diddy's 85-year-old mom, Janice Combs, arrived separately.
02:47The whole entire family will be here today.
02:48Yeah.
02:49It was a family affair inside the courtroom.
02:51Diddy entered the court wearing a white shirt and a casual crewneck sweater.
02:56He faced his mom and his kids and placed his hand on his heart,
03:00made a symbol of the heart with his fingers, and blew them a kiss.
03:03In her opening statement, the prosecutor told the jury Diddy called himself the king and expected to be treated like one.
03:11She told the story of victim number one, star witness Cassie Ventura,
03:16who was viciously beaten by Diddy in this notorious hotel surveillance video.
03:21The first witness was a former hotel security guard who says he saw Cassie Ventura nursing a black eye after that attack.
03:28He says Diddy offered him a wad of cash, enough to fit between his thumb and his pinky, to stay quiet about the incident.
03:36He also allegedly used drugs, threats, and violence to force Cassie to have sex with him in front of male escorts.
03:44The jury that was sworn in today consists of eight men and four women.
03:48The youngest is 30.
03:49The oldest is 75.
03:52It's a racially diverse group and includes four white and five black men and women.
03:56I spoke with jury consultant and attorney Claudia Colon.
04:00The more different people are, the more likely they're going to argue in the deliberation room,
04:04and that's exactly what the defense was.
04:05Diddy's defense attorney told him to stand and face the jury.
04:08She introduced him as plain Sean Combs.
04:12She said that the hotel surveillance video is overwhelming evidence of domestic violence, not sex trafficking.
04:19The defense, kind of surprisingly to me, admitted that Mr. Combs is a jerk, that he's done some bad things, that he has a terrible temper, that he's a jealous person.
04:31Combs, who was seen reading the Bible in court, has denied all the charges against him.
04:34He faces life in prison if he's convicted.
04:38You may remember a cartoon in which a kangaroo gets in a boxing ring with a human, but did a real person try to box a kangaroo?
04:44We can't ask him directly because he's now dead.
04:48As Jim Murray reports, there are strong suspicions he was killed while trying to tangle with a kangaroo.
04:54Did this kangaroo just kill a man?
04:57Calm down, calm down.
04:58That's the mystery after the 52-year-old man was found dead in the kangaroo enclosure at a petting zoo in South Carolina.
05:06Did it back feet?
05:07You gotta watch.
05:07Eric Slate can be seen in this exclusive video, Roughhousing with a Kangaroo.
05:12The video was recorded just 10 days ago.
05:15On Friday, Slate was apparently beaten to death by the kangaroo named Jack when he entered the enclosure.
05:21Authorities say Slate suffered multiple blunt injuries.
05:25An autopsy is pending.
05:26Slate's brother runs the petting zoo, and Eric has a history of going at it with the kangaroos.
05:32I'm not wrestling you.
05:33That means no, no, no, no.
05:36We learned that lesson yesterday.
05:37You won.
05:38YouTube videos show how aggressive kangaroos can get.
05:43This guy comes to the rescue of his dog by going mano-a-mano with the roo.
05:48There it goes, dog.
05:49And the bulging biceps on this roo in Australia make him look like the Arnold Schwarzenegger of kangaroos.
05:55Kangaroos are incredibly powerful, not with their front feet, but with their hind legs.
05:59If it gets threatened, it is something that can be very, very dangerous to any human being.
06:03I spoke to the dead man's brother, Robert Slate.
06:06Do you think the kangaroo killed your brother?
06:09No, I do not.
06:09He says his brother had recently been complaining of chest pain.
06:13What do you think happened?
06:14We're waiting on the autopsy to come back.
06:16At some point, the kangaroo did scratch him.
06:18I'm not denying that, but I don't feel that the kangaroo is the main cause of it.
06:22Calm down, calm down.
06:23That kangaroo has been quarantined pending the results of that autopsy.
06:28Legendary NFL coach Bill Belichick was there as his much younger girlfriend competed for Miss Maine USA.
06:34She didn't win the title, and her disappointment was all over her face.
06:38Here's Allison Hall.
06:40Miss Congeniality, she's not.
06:43Our second runner-up, Jordan Hudson.
06:46Phil Belichick's 24-year-old girlfriend, Jordan Hudson, came in third place at the Miss Maine USA competition.
06:55Perhaps this misstep had something to do with it.
06:59She sure doesn't look pleased that she's not advancing to the Miss USA pageant.
07:04A sour look after failing to win goes this New York Post headline.
07:09Here she is backstage in a sleeveless green jumpsuit.
07:13And here she is competing in the evening gown competition in blue sequins.
07:18This was Jordan's first public appearance since she interrupted Belichick's CBS interview last month.
07:25You have Jordan right over there.
07:27How did you guys meet?
07:29Not talking about this.
07:30On stage during the question and answer portion of the contest, it sounded like she was responding to the backlash.
07:37I'm hoping that anybody who's watching this finds the strength to push through whatever it is that they're going through and embodies that hate never wins.
07:50The mic got a little too close.
07:53The legendary 73-year-old Belichick, who now coaches football at the University of North Carolina, was there cheering on his girlfriend.
08:02There he is, right in the front row.
08:04When the pageant was over, Jordan, still in her evening gown, and Belichick, left the venue together, hand in hand.
08:12Siobhan Zaret competed against Jordan.
08:16There are some headlines that said, you know, she was being a sore loser.
08:20What was your read on that?
08:21Well, I'm sure none of the girls were ecstatic to lose, you know.
08:26I mean, you're in the pageant hoping to win.
08:30Well, Jordan didn't go home completely empty-handed.
08:32She won the Stile Award.
08:34President Trump's plan to accept a plane from Qatar to use as the new Air Force One is being widely criticized by both Democrats and Republicans.
08:43The Constitution prohibits presidents from receiving gifts from foreign entities, and the White House says they're working out the legal details.
08:51Amber Cagliano reports Mr. Trump says he'd be stupid to turn down a free plane.
08:55President Trump is firing back today at the heat coming his way for accepting an extraordinary gift from Qatar's royal family, a $400 million plane that will serve as the new Air Force One.
09:09I could be a stupid person and say, oh, no, we don't want a free plane.
09:12He lashed out at reporters who questioned the Qatari's motives.
09:15Let me tell you, you should be embarrassed asking that question.
09:20They're giving us a free jet.
09:22The plane is a 13-year-old Boeing 747A, and looking inside, you can see why it's known as the Flying Palace.
09:30Plush carpet, sleek leather furniture.
09:33Trump got a personal tour in February and was clearly smitten.
09:36I think it's a great gesture from Qatar.
09:39I appreciate it very much.
09:40But the gift is getting slammed today from both sides.
09:44Bernie Sanders is calling the deal farcically corrupt and blatantly unconstitutional.
09:49Trump ally Laura Loomer says, I would take a bullet for him, but this is really going to be such a stain on the administration.
09:56I'm so disappointed.
09:58It's also a huge national security risk.
10:00So you're going to have the Qatari government know all the ins and outs security protocols, technology, the plane that houses the U.S. president.
10:08Security experts say the plane will have to be torn apart to make sure there are no listening devices hidden in the walls.
10:16How do you sweep a jet this size?
10:18You have to sweep it inch by inch.
10:20You have to make sure that every area there's a hiding spot has to be checked.
10:23Every piece of upholstery, every panel, everything has to be checked on the plane.
10:27That seems impossible.
10:29It's possible.
10:29It just takes a lot of time.
10:30President Trump is visiting Qatar later this week, where he's expected to meet with Edan Alexander, the last American hostage held by Hamas.
10:39He was released today.
10:43Edan's friends and family are gathered here in his hometown of Tetapli, New Jersey, and they are overjoyed with the news of the 21-year-old's release.
10:51He appears to be in fair condition after 19 months in captivity.
10:56His first phone call was to his grateful mom.
10:59You look beautiful.
11:03I love you so much.
11:05According to reports in Israel, Alexander endured severe torture and was held handcuffed in a cage for a considerable period of time.
11:14More than eight years ago, Kim Kardashian was robbed inside her Paris hotel room.
11:19$10 million worth of her jewelry was stolen.
11:21And at long last, the men suspected in the heist are going on trial.
11:26Stephen Fabian is in Paris with the latest.
11:28Stephen?
11:29Thanks, Debra.
11:30We're here in Paris at the courthouse where Kim Kardashian will finally come face-to-face with the men accused of terrorizing her at gunpoint in what the French media is calling the heist of the century.
11:43Now, we were inside the building today as members of the so-called grandpa robbers, many of them in their 60s and 70s, were led into the rather ornate courtroom, looking somewhat disinterested and unengaged in the all-French testimony as a large picture of the handgun used in the robbery was shown on a big screen in the courtroom.
12:04That's the 69-year-old alleged ringleader hobbling into court today using a cane.
12:12Cops say this defendant was the inside man who worked for the car company used by Kim and allegedly tipped off the robbers about her schedule on the night of the robbery eight years ago.
12:23Kim and her entourage arrived today at the Le Bourget airport outside Paris.
12:27You can see her luggage piled onto a cart.
12:30Her mother, Kris Jenner, is believed to be with her, judging by the initials on this luxurious Goyard bag.
12:37Tomorrow, Kim will take the stand and confront her accused attackers in what is sure to be dramatic testimony.
12:43Before leaving for Paris, Kim posted photos celebrating Mother's Day with her kids, along with her mom and grandmother.
12:50Wow, these are beautiful pancakes.
12:53Kim was treated to heart-shaped pancakes, lots of flowers, and cards made by her four children.
12:58Ruth gave me this inklet for Mother's Day. It's so cute.
13:02During the terrifying robbery, thieves got away with $10 million worth of Kim's jewelry, including her 20-carat diamond ring gifted by then-husband Kanye West.
13:12Most of it has never been recovered.
13:15And what's taken this trial so long?
13:18Well, the delays are caused by the pandemic and last summer's Paris Olympics.
13:22Now take a look at this video.
13:24It is a very close call for a woman who's having some fun on the sun on a yacht in Miami.
13:28When they drive right into the wake of another boat, she gets tossed all over the place, and the phone goes overboard, but fortunately, she did not.
13:40Now over to Vatican City, where Pope Leo XIV held his first press conference since he was named pontiff, and reporters gave him a standing ovation.
13:48Talk about meet-the-press, 6,000 journalists, perhaps the largest ever assembled, gathered at Vatican City today for the new Pope's first news conference.
14:00They say when they clap at the beginning, it doesn't matter much.
14:05If you're still awake at the end and you still want to applaud, thank you very much.
14:09Pope Leo XIV even took the time to autograph a baseball.
14:15History's first American pope is a huge baseball fan, and to prove it, look what we found.
14:21It's the future pope in the crowd at the 2005 World Series.
14:26Yup, it's the future pope himself cheering on his beloved White Sox with the rest of the bleacher creatures during Game 1 against the Houston Astros.
14:3420 years later, who would have thought?
14:40We'll be back with more Inside Edition right after this.
14:43Next, stop that cheerleader.
14:46Stop! Stop your car!
14:48Plowing through a crowded street festival because she's late for work.
14:52I'm just having to get the words!
14:54Then, singer Meghan Trainor's new body.
14:57I got some kind of boots, and I can't shake it, shaking, like I'm so close to you.

17:08She is a former cheerleader who got stuck in traffic connected to a local street festival.
17:16But rather than wait it out, cops say she tried to plow through the crowd.
17:20In fact, they say she hit one of their officers.
17:22Allison Hall reports that landed the woman in handcuffs.
17:27Stop your car.
17:28It's shocking video.
17:30The driver is refusing to stop as she plows through a street festival.
17:35Stop.
17:36Parents and kids flee to avoid getting hit by her car.
17:40So why was the driver causing so much mayhem?
17:46Turns out she was late for work, and all the roads were closed off for the street festival.
17:52I just need to get out.
17:54I need to get out.
17:56It started when the suspect, Kai DeBerry-Bostick, got out of her silver BMW to talk to the officer.
18:03You cannot move this.
18:04I'm telling you right now.
18:06I gotta go to work.
18:07What do you want me to do?
18:08I have to go to work.
18:09You cannot get out.
18:11I can't help you with that.
18:13Please do not disturb this area.
18:15That doesn't stop the 28-year-old.
18:17She brazenly rips the caution tape, then gets back in her car and takes off, hitting the officer.
18:24Stop your car.
18:26Stop.
18:27Excuse me.
18:27Excuse me, y'all.
18:28What?
18:29What?
18:29What?
18:3010 years later.
18:30People were scared to death of what might happen to them and their loved ones.
18:35It's just extreme disregard for the safety of everybody, including her.
18:40The driver was pulled out of her car and arrested by officers in Laurel, Maryland, just outside D.C.
18:47I'm not going to get the water.
18:49I'm not going to get the water.
18:51We're now learning the driver is a former cheerleader at Bowie State University in Maryland.
18:56She also loves showing off her sign language skills to popular music, including this Taylor Swifton.
19:07Now she's facing a litany of criminal charges, all because she didn't want to be late for work.
19:13This is her deciding her getting to work was more important than the safety of everybody else.
19:18It's just not acceptable anywhere.
19:20The police department said in a statement that thanks to the rapid response of their officers, no festival goers were harmed.
19:29They also say the officer who was hit sustained minor injuries.
19:32We'll be back with more Inside Edition after this.
19:35Still to come, singer Meghan Trainor's new body.
19:39I guess I'm running loose.

23:13We've told you about singers having things thrown at them from the audience.
23:26Now, WWE superstar John Cena was hit by a flying beer bottle, and that led to a ban of all bottles at the arena.
23:34John Cena has a bottle of beer hurled at him on live TV.
23:38A scary incident happened at the WWE SmackDown in Ohio.
23:44A fan caught the moment the knucklehead hurls the bottle right into the ring.
23:48The bottle hit him in the knee pad.
23:50You can see the look of disapproval on Cena's face with the bottle sitting at his feet.
23:55Cena slowly picks up the bottle, scowling.
23:58Then he scolds the fan.
23:59The reason you're reduced to throwing empty bottles of beer is because every single one of you knows exactly how important backlash is.
24:12Because of the incident, fans were forced to empty their water bottles into cups to keep things safe.
24:20And check out singer Meghan Trainor's new body.
