00:00A trailer lorry is believed to have lost control, causing a collision involving five other vehicles
00:07at kilometre 32.5 of the Klang Banting Road in front of a bank in Banting on Wednesday.
00:14Kuala Langat Police Chief Superintendent Mohamed Akmal Rizal Mohamed Radzi said all victims,
00:21aged between 20 and 50, escaped uninjured in the incident, which occurred at around 12.15pm.
00:29The trailer, travelling from Denkhil to Sungai Buaya, is believed to have rammed into another lorry,
00:35which then struck several other vehicles that were giving way to a sedan, attempting to park by the roadside.
00:41Among the damaged vehicles were two sedans, a sport utility vehicle, and a multipurpose van.
00:48Authorities confirmed that the trailer driver, in his 40s, holds a valid driving licence and tested negative for drugs.
00:54The case is being investigated under Section 43, Subsection 1 of the Road Transport Act 1987
01:01for careless and inconsiderate driving.
