Migrate personal Gmail account data to Office 365 platform at once. This is a step-by-step instructions to transfer mailbox from Gmail to Microsoft 365.

00:03Sometimes, users or organizations required to migrate Gmail to Microsoft 365
00:09for better integration with other Microsoft tools,
00:13improved security, or centralized email management.
00:17In such cases, importing emails from Gmail to Office 365
00:21helps keep important emails in one place
00:24without losing access to past communication.
00:27In this video, I will guide you how you can import Gmail emails in Office 365 platform.
00:34Let's start.
00:35Before starting the migration process,
00:38first we have to enable the two-step verification of Gmail account
00:41to find the app password of Gmail account.
00:44For this, click on the Google account icon and select Manage your Google account.
00:50Now in the Google account, select Security.
00:53Click on two-step verification option.
00:57Now click on Turn on two-step verification button.
01:02Here, select your country, put your mobile number, and click on the Next button.
01:06Now put the verification code and press the Verify button.
01:10Again, click on Done.
01:13As you see, the two-step verification is now active.
01:16So now generate app password.
01:19For this, type app password in the search bar and click on App Password option.
01:25Type any XYZ app name and click on Create.
01:29Now copy the app password and click on Done.
01:32Save this password in any text editor file.
01:35Now, to start the migration process, sign in your Microsoft 365 account.
01:41For this, click on Sign in button.
01:44Put the admin email ID and password and press the Sign in button.
01:49Here press Yes.
01:50Now click on Admin to open Microsoft 365 Admin Center panel.
01:57This is the Admin Center of Microsoft 365.
02:01Here click on Show More.
02:03Again click on Exchange to open Exchange Admin Center.
02:07This is the Exchange Admin Center window.
02:12Here click on Migration and select Add Migration Batch.
02:16This is the Add Migration Batch panel.
02:19Follow all steps properly.
02:22First here, put a unique name of migration badge and press the Next button.
02:27Select the migration type, IMAP Migration, and click on Next button.
02:31You can read all prerequisites or directly click on Next.
02:35Now select Create a New Migration Endpoint and press the Next button.
02:40Now put any unique migration endpoint name and click on Next.
02:45Put IMAP server name imap.gmail.com.
02:50The authentication should be Select Basic.
02:53Select the Encryption option SSL and also enable Accept Untested Certificates.
02:59After that, press the Next button.
03:01Now the endpoint going to Save.
03:02After the endpoint creation, click on the Next.
03:06Now download the CSV file to add the user information.
03:10Now open the CSV file and put the user information like this.
03:14First put Destination ID means Office 365 User ID.
03:20After that, put Gmail User ID.
03:22And finally, put the generated Gmail ID app password.
03:26Add other user information below.
03:29Now save this CSV file.
03:30Now visit Exchange Admin Center.
03:34Click on Import CSV file and select the generated CSV file.
03:38Now press the Next button.
03:40These are some filter options.
03:42You can use these as per your requirement or directly click on Next.
03:47Here put the email ID of that user who received the report of the migration process.
03:51Now select Automatically Start the Batch.
03:54You can also select the Manually Start option if you want to start the migration batch later manually.
04:01Now select the time zone and press the Save button.
04:04You can see the batch creation in process in progress.
04:08Please wait here.
04:10The batch creation is now successfully created.
04:14Click on Done button.
04:17As you see the email syncing process is start.
04:20You can click on Refresh icon to check updated status.
04:24Now it is showing the data consistency score is perfect.
04:28Click on the created batch and select the view details to know how much data are migrated.
04:33The migration takes time according to the data size.
04:39As you see the showing the 100% data is synced.
04:43You can click again on the created batch and select view details to know how much data are synced.
