Follow step by step process to import PST files to Office 365 account at once. This is a native method to transfer mailbox from PST to Office 365.

00:03Due to the greater convenience in Microsoft 365,
00:07most businesses and industries prefer to migrate PST to Microsoft 365.
00:13It provides various inbuilt services and tools
00:16so that users can easily work in it from anywhere.
00:20In this video, I will show you how you can import PST to Microsoft 365
00:26for free using network upload method.
00:28For your help, I have also written an article
00:32that will help you to make the PST to Microsoft 365 migration process very easy.
00:39Here I have shared the step-by-step guide to import PST to Office 365
00:43using the network upload method.
00:46I have also shared the article link in the description.
00:50Let's start following the migration process.
00:53First of all, we need to log in to the Microsoft 365 account
00:57using the admin ID.
00:59For this, run this link on your browser.
01:03Now enter the admin email ID here and click on the next button.
01:07Give the password here and click on the sign in button.
01:11Now the admin account is logged in.
01:13Let's get back to the article.
01:14Now we have to assign the mailbox import export and mail recipients role to admin
01:20or that users how we'll perform the PST to Microsoft 365 migration.
01:26Here I am going to import the PST file into Office 365 using the admin account.
01:32So here, I will select the admin ID.
01:35So visit the admin panel and assign role to admin ID.
01:39Here click on admin icon to open the admin panel.
01:43This is the admin panel here.
01:45Click on Show All.
01:48Now select Exchange to open Exchange Admin Center.
01:52This is the Exchange Admin Center area.
01:55Here click on role and select admin role.
01:58Now select Organization Management and click on permission.
02:02Search and enable mailbox import export and mail recipients.
02:07Now click on Save button.
02:09To assign the same role to admin, select Assign and click on Add tab.
02:15Search and select admin account.
02:18Now click the Add button.
02:20Role is assigned.
02:21So let's go back to the article.
02:23I have done all these things.
02:25Now we have to create import job.
02:27After successfully creating the import job,
02:29we can start PST to Office 365 migration process.
02:35For this, go to the Microsoft Exchange Admin Center
02:38and click on Microsoft Preview to open Microsoft Preview panel.
02:44This is the Microsoft Preview panel.
02:47Here select Solution and click on Data Lifecycle Management.
02:52Now select Import and click on New Import Job tab.
02:56Here types any unique import job name and press the Next button.
03:02In this section, choose Upload Your Data option and press the Next button.
03:07Here click on Show Network Upload SAS URL button.
03:12The SAS URL is now generated.
03:15Click on Copy to Clipboard to copy the SAS URL.
03:20Save the copied SAS URL in Notepad.
03:23Now click here to Download Azure AZ Copy tool to upload your PST files here.
03:29Here select and download that Azure AZ Copy tool which is suitable for your system.
03:35This tool is now downloaded.
03:37So go to the location where this tool is downloaded.
03:41The downloaded tool is in zip so unzip it.
03:45Now click on the unzipped folder.
03:51This is the location where the AZ Copy tool is available so copy and save this path.
03:57Let's go back to the article.
03:59I have done all these things.
04:02Now we have to pen the command prompt to run the copied AZ Copy tool path.
04:07Add CD before the copied location and copy this on.
04:12Now open the command prompt.
04:14Run the copied location here.
04:16I have added CD before location because we have to enter the location of the copied file through command prompt.
04:22This process is complete so let's go back to the article.
04:26Now we have to find the location of the PST file and copy it.
04:33So go to where your PST file is located.
04:36Remember, always add your PST file to a folder.
04:40Right click on the PST file and select properties.
04:44Copy the path and save it in Notepad and finally add the PST file name in last like this.
04:50Let's back to the article.
04:51Now we have to run this command in command prompt after updating link this.
04:58Here put the PST file location.
05:01Here put the SAS URL.
05:06Note, add recursive at the end of this command if the PST file is inside a subfolder.
05:12Now copy the command and run on command prompt.
05:15Here wait till the PST file gets loaded.
05:18As you can see, the file is loaded so go to exchange preview.
05:23I have done all required things so enable both checkbox and click on next button.
05:29Now here we have to import the CSV file.
05:32So go back to article to download the sample of the CSV file.
05:36Copy and run the link to download the sample CSV file.
05:40Save the CSV file where you want.
05:43Now open the CSV file and update it as I am describing.
05:47The workload column remains the same.
05:53Since we have already provided the file path while uploading the file, we will leave the
05:58file path column blank.
06:01In name column, put the PST file name.
06:05In mailbox column, fill mailbox ID.
06:08Now in is archive column.
06:12If you want to import all PST file in primary mailbox, put false.
06:17If you want to import the PST file in archive mailbox, put true.
06:23In target root folder column, provide that folder name where you want to import the PST file.
06:29If we leave it blank, the PST file will be import in the imported folder in the root of the mailbox.
06:35Leave all these columns blank.
06:37If you have multiple PST files, add all in the below rows.
06:41Now save this CSV file and go back to the Microsoft Preview panel.
06:47Click on Upload File.
06:48Now select the updated CSV file.
06:51Now click on Validate to validate the CSV file.
06:56As you can see the CSV file is validated, so press the Next button.
07:00Now verify all details and press the Submit button.
07:06As you can see the file successfully uploaded on cloud, so click on Done.
07:11The import job has been created.
07:13You can see the current progress here.
07:15Wait till the import job progress in Not Complete.
07:19Clicking on Refresh button, you can see the refreshed status.
07:23Now you can see the process is complete.
07:26Select the created job and click on Import to Office 365 to import the PST file into given Microsoft 365 Outlook account.
07:37If you want to apply any filter select, I want to filter it before importing.
07:42If you do not want to apply any filter select, no, I want to import everything and press the Next button.
07:49Now you can see the data size.
07:51Here directly click the Submit button.
07:53Now you can see the upload process is successfully done, so press the Done button.
08:00Now click on the Refresh button.
08:02You can see the import PST file process is in progress.
08:06Wait till the process in Not Over.
08:10Now you can see the PST to Microsoft 365 migration process is now over.
08:16Let's open the Outlook and check the data come or not.
08:20In Microsoft 365, click on Apps and select Outlook to open the Microsoft Outlook.
08:29As I told, if you do not provide the target root folder name, the database will automatically come in Imported folder.
08:37So, you can see the imported folder has been created and the email database has been migrated.
