Cardinal Burke Urges You to Pray for the Sacred College of Cardinals

00:00I urge you to begin to pray the novena prayer for the Sacred College of Cardinals who on May 7th

00:08will enter into conclave to elect a new successor to St. Peter, a new shepherd of the Universal

00:16Church. If you have already been praying the novena, I ask you to please continue it until

00:24the conclave has concluded its work and a new pope has been elected to lead us, guide us,

00:32encourage us and direct us in the church. We know that we're living in very difficult times in the

00:41world and this means also the church faces unusual challenges in our time and for that reason in

00:47particular. We need to be an army of prayers of those who are praying for the church, especially

00:56invoking the intercession of Our Lady of Guadalupe, a very powerful manifestation of her love for her

01:04children in the church, drawing them to Christ, that she would intercede in this moment for the

01:12cardinals, for all the members of the Sacred College of Cardinals, that they will be obedient

01:17to the promptings of the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit who will be guiding and directing the cardinals

01:24to choose the most worthy man to be the successor to St. Peter. I thank you very much for your prayers.
