00:05I just, I would have put Vinatarian first.

00:07I would put Vinatarian also.

00:09I would have voted for him, but I'm not surprised.

00:10We talked about it on Friday.

00:12We knew we were going to get the results today,

00:13and I was like, it's going to be Edelman.

00:15He is one of the most popular Patriots of all time.

00:19He played his entire career with the Patriots.

00:21He more recently played for the Patriots.

00:24And if you're leaving it up to a fan vote, he's going to get in.

00:27And honestly, he'd beat most, like, besides Brady and Gronk,

00:31I feel like Edelman would beat most people in a fan vote.

00:34People love Julian Edelman.

00:36And Adam Vinatieri left New England and played longer for the Colts

00:40than he did for the Patriots.

00:41And it doesn't mean he shouldn't be in the Hall of Fame.

00:43We both think that he should be in the Hall of Fame.

00:46But Edelman's also the prototypical team Hall of Fame guy.

00:50Like, you make a team Hall of Fame for a guy like that

00:54because he won't make the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

00:56And he played his whole career here, and he did whatever the team needed.

01:00Clutch plays, Super Bowl wins, all that stuff.

01:03Second, you know, Troy Brown 2.0.

01:05He played defense.

01:06He was on special teams.

01:07He was out there as a high-level receiver, as you said, Super Bowl MVP.

01:11So I think Edelman's very deserving.

01:13I just think it's backwards.

01:14It's not going to matter long term.

01:16I imagine Vinatieri gets in next year.

01:18I hope so.

01:19Unless, is Gronk next year?

01:21Well, good point.

01:22So I just think Vinatieri should get in, and he shouldn't have to wait to get in.

01:27I mean, the guy, I don't want to say single-handedly, but he was the biggest moment in, I mean,

01:33getting past the Raiders in the Snow Bowl.

01:35No disrespect to Wiggy.

01:37He made you think of kickers as a football player and actually respect a kicker, whereas before you're like, ah.

01:42I just, I mean, again, I'm not going to stamp my feet about it and cry about it all day,

01:46but Vinatieri should get in before Edelman, in my personal estimation.

01:49But Edelman absolutely is a Patriots Hall of Famer.

01:51As you said, Gronk and all these other guys, if they make Vinatieri wait, I just think that's a shame.

01:55But all of them will get in at the end of the day.

01:57So I guess on that front, no harm, no foul.

01:59But Julian Edelman, a Patriots Hall of Famer, he'll be joined by Bill Parcells going in this fall.
