A physical altercation between the principal and librarian of a government Eklavya School in Khargone, Madhya Pradesh, has surfaced in a viral video on social media.
The incident occurred on Friday morning, but came to light on Saturday after footage showed Principal Praveen Dahiya and Librarian Madhurani slapping, pushing, and pulling each other’s hair on school premises. The principal allegedly also broke the librarian’s phone.
The fight reportedly stemmed from a work-related dispute. Both officials have been removed from their posts and temporarily attached to the office of Assistant Commissioner Prashant Arya.
District Collector Bhavya Mittal has ordered an investigation by the Tribal Welfare Department. Since the school functions under a central government scheme, a report has been forwarded to authorities in Delhi for further action.
Assistant Commissioner Arya confirmed a preliminary inquiry and assured strict action based on the final report.
