00:00U.S. President Donald Trump has marked 100 days of his second administration.
00:07The U.S. leader claimed to have had the most successful ever start to a presidential term.
00:12However, polls suggest about 4 in 10 Americans or even less approve of how he is handling the presidency.
00:19After 100 days back in the White House, America is a free, proud and sovereign nation once more.
00:26During a 90-minute speech, Trump focused heavily on immigration.
00:30The president showed a video of men being deported from the U.S. to a notorious prison in El Salvador
00:36and promised his supporters that his administration had just gotten started.
00:42During his speech, Trump also attacked federal judges after they had questioned the legality of using an ancient wartime act to deport people.
00:51The U.S. leader hit back that nothing will stop him in his mission to keep America safe.
00:57However, the U.S. public also expressed concerns about Trump's immigration policies,
01:03with roughly half of Americans saying he has gone too far over deportations.
01:08While roars of approval could be heard inside of the venue,
01:11more than a thousand people protested outside holding signs reading 100 days of lies,
01:17and Trump is destroying our democracy.
01:21Police in Sweden have arrested a teenager in connection with a deadly shooting at a hair salon in the eastern city of Uppsala on Tuesday.

02:03But we continue following several reports

02:31which has resulted in frequent shootings and bomb attacks.
02:35Germany's Social Democrats approved a coalition deal with conservatives on Wednesday,
02:42paving the way for Friedrich Merz to become chancellor.
02:45Nearly 85 percent of SPD members who voted
02:49backed joining the government led by Merz's CDU and CSU bloc.
02:54The SPD finished third in February's election,
02:58but its support allows the conservatives to govern without the far-right AfD.
03:03The SPD leader Lars Klingbeil is tapped for vice chancellor and finance minister,
03:10though critics question his fiscal experience.

03:23with parliament expected to elect Merz as chancellor on Tuesday, May 6th.

03:38As they left the venue, most of them walked through St. Peter's Square.
03:42Others, like Cardinal Philippe Barbarin, stopped by car to speak with journalists.
03:47He said he hopes the conclave will not last long.
03:51When asked whether the next pope would be from Europe,
03:54he replied that he would be a pope from the entire church.
03:57Although not eligible to vote due to their age,
04:01cardinals over 80 years old also attend the general congregations for their experience.
04:07We spoke to Cardinal Rosa Chavez.
04:10We were very full of hope.
04:15We started to speak names of candidates.
04:22People that we don't know,
04:27when they listen to what they say,
04:33they think,
04:34it's interesting.
04:36Cardinals will continue to meet until the conclave,
04:39using this time to get to know each other better
04:41and form a clearer idea of whom they would like to elect as the next pope.
04:46since now I asked for their first two discrimination around France.
