00:00There will be people asking, you know, Saudi Arabia's got a flag carrier already,

00:04Saudi Arabia, it's out there, we see it on the tarmac.

00:07What's the rationale behind a second national carrier?

00:10So the kingdom is obviously a very large country.

00:13It's got a big population and it's, of course, a G20 economy.

00:20The reality is we're not as well connected today internationally as we need to be.

00:25And there is a clear case for two long-haul national carriers.

00:32When we mature up to scale, obviously our hub, given the brand, will be Riyadh, connecting to the world,

00:39and the world through Riyadh into the kingdom and beyond.

00:43And Saudia will move over time to Jeddah, which is the ancestral home as well.

00:49So both those markets need growth.

00:52Saudia, the sister company, and Riyadh, and I think this is one of those really important moments

01:00in the evolution of aviation within the kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
