00:00I found it really interesting, Dr. Eli. He said almost NATO-like. Would you agree with that?
00:06This is huge, definitely, for Trump to say that clearly and that bluntly, whoever attacks such a partner will be as if he is attacking the U.S.
00:14And we will not allow that. We will act on that.
00:18This is really putting Saudi Arabia at the level of NATO, which, of course, the members of the NATO share a common defense policy among them.
00:27And this, I think, will be raising real eyebrows in Israel.
00:32We've seen in the past two weeks something shifting.
00:35We've seen the U.S. deal with the Houthis without asking Israel and actually leaving Israel out of that discussion.
00:44We've seen the Americans discuss, even with Hamas, the release of the American hostage without putting Israel into that discussion.
00:52And now we're seeing elevating Saudi Arabia to such a high level of partnership that could possibly be compared to the traditional historical strategic and military alliance that the U.S. had with Israel.
01:04So is something shifting permanently? Is it just teasing in politics?
01:09Definitely we have to wait and see.
01:11But I think Saudi Arabia is presenting itself as a key partner and a key ally for the U.S. in the region.
01:18Once again, that could give the U.S. in terms of economy and security and all things, maybe what Israel cannot even give it.
