00:08Since its transformation for Supper Club to a brick and mortar establishment in 2012,

00:14Bravas has captured the essence of Spanish culinary culture,

00:18offering an authentic dining experience that resonates with both locals and visitors.

00:25So we are an Andalusian inspired Spanish tapas bar.

00:29We've been here for 13 years and we've got a great atmosphere.

00:35Our sort of thing is really great fresh food and atmosphere.

01:13So we're very much inspired by Southern Spain.

01:17So our cuisine is tapas, so small dishes designed to share Mediterranean in style.

01:24So a lot of olive oil, fresh fish.

01:27We cook on a plancha, which is like a big solid metal grill.

01:31And that gives the food a really delicious flavour.

01:34Very, very heavily Spanish-influenced.

01:39Lots of produce kind of taken or imported from Spain.

01:43And we kind of try and do it justice, I guess.

01:49Beyond the food, Bravas fosters a warm community atmosphere.

02:14It's a smaller business, but a really thriving one in the city.

02:19So why do you think it has become a thriving business in the city?

02:25I think the main reason is the food.

02:29I think it's very hard to get food that we do here anywhere else,

02:32in Bristol, maybe even in the UK,

02:34because a lot of our produce is Spanish

02:36and the dishes are themed around Spain as much as possible.

02:40It's quite difficult to get that anywhere else.

02:42I also think the atmosphere that is created contributes to that heavily.

02:48The service is good.

02:49We do quite well serving people.

02:51They're happy with the approach we have.

02:55Yeah, I think those are the two main reasons it's successful.
