00:00there's a 30 pound cat in indiana they've nicknamed thick and nugget i love fat cats

00:14they're hilarious um and they are trying to slim him down using an exercise regime usually

00:22reserved for dogs at first but uh he swims so well and he gets out and just walks around

00:29like he owns the place so i think he actually kind of likes it deep down

00:33i'm terrified uh the place is called the canine aquatic center they're helping him swim his way

00:56thin hey people don't kill me a lot of people think it's cute when it's like that garfield type

01:03cap but it's not cute um ty's quality of life is affected at this point so we want to give him a

01:08good quality of life and know that the adoptive home is going to adhere to his his diet and exercise

01:14restriction in seven weeks he's lost five pounds in seven weeks yeah that is good i'll say this

01:23he can drop another 10 got a ways to go

01:27you'll get there yeah hey i do love when the the fat cats swim though oh my god that is the funniest

01:36and their little life jackets left one yeah

01:39i'll tell you though i don't know i i know how they get so fat like my cat never stops asking for food

01:49did he gain weight since he's moved in with you has he gained weight oh yeah how much weight i know

01:54he doesn't look really he hasn't really but i feel like it's it's happening yeah slowly because

02:00he was probably like 12 pounds and he's probably maybe 13 now i don't know he just constantly is

02:09i'd have to like give like you know portion out the food all day long so he would think that he

02:17was getting more but what they say on the bag like how little food it is he's like no bitch

02:23i need more than that yeah three quarters of a cup a day to put bitty jean on a diet yeah i took her

02:30and they were like she's a little chunky and i'm like okay so we went on a diet together and she

02:34for the first like three weeks was like so you're just not feeding me anymore yeah you hate me now

02:39you're gonna kill me yeah trying to kill me huh she's got all of her stuff packed right she's like

02:44i got the bags packed get it well actually she'd just be like get out of my apartment

02:48i've got all your bags packed i'm i've been sick of you for some time now

02:53yeah it's tough i mean i get it i can understand why some people just give in yeah and their their

03:02cats get fat yeah for sure jameson is going i don't know what as he's getting older he gets weirder

03:08but he's like if it's like an hour before mealtime he cannot contain himself that's how

03:16douglas is too like his internal clock is like i should be getting food like you push an hour

03:22ahead it's like yeah you have an hour yeah i'm like nobody and he'll just sit and stare at me and

03:27then he'll paw me like hey buddy yeah every time i get up he's like yes it's time if i if i stand

03:34countertop yeah i'm like no yeah like it's always just like follow me to the food then

03:41this way this way oh you're walking towards the oh the bathroom that's exactly the same experience
