00:05Time now for Military Monday on 99.5 QYK.

00:10It is Military Monday. We have Jay on the phone who is honoring his niece's husband, John.

00:15Good morning, Jay. How are you?

00:17Oh, man, I can't complain. Good morning.

00:19Well, we appreciate you reaching out to us. We want to talk about John.

00:22Tell us how John serves in our military.

00:25John is active in the Army.

00:27All right. And it says here he just got back from deployment?

00:32Yes, sir. He was technically in Ukraine, but technically not in Ukraine.

00:38We got you, wink, wink.

00:40Yeah, we got it. Understood.

00:42Okay. And why don't you just tell us about him as a guy, as a person?

00:47All-around great guy. I mean, I don't think anybody can really say anything bad about him.

00:52He always wants to have fun.

00:53And he's kind of the goofball in the classroom that always made everybody smile and, you know, made the day enjoyable.

01:00What are some of the things that you guys love to do together?

01:03Oh, man, family. Just spending time.

01:06He's a great father. He's a great husband. He's got two children.

01:11It's one of those things where it chokes you up every time you ask to leave,

01:14and it chokes you up every time he comes home because it's, you know, a sad goodbye but a warm welcoming.

01:19So it's hard. You know, it tugs at the strength.

01:22Well, let's focus on that warm welcoming. Let's hear about that.

01:25I mean, what is the first things that he likes to do other than love and kiss his family?

01:29What are some of the things that he likes to do when he gets back?

01:32I want to say just a good home-cooked meal.

01:34So, you know, I bet.

01:36He gets to sit back and watch some football.

01:38He's good. He's active in sports.

01:41I mean, like I said, he's an all-around good person.

01:43You couldn't ask for anybody better for, you know, for anybody in your family to be married to or to know.

01:49Well, I mean, this is your niece we're talking about that he's married to.

01:52So he better be good, right?

01:54Exactly. Exactly.

01:56All right.
