00:17It was weird because I went outside to check the weather, like, on the hour, every hour.

00:22I was nervous for the game, so I was pacing back and forth like a madman, you know, waiting

00:26for a do-or-die game five.

00:27Not surprised.

00:28And it really was not, there was no precipitation of any substance in Spring Lake Heights.

00:34Well, you do realize you're over an hour away from where the baseball game was going to be

00:39played.

00:39That's a good point.

00:44I heard, I believe, that there's going to be some changes.

00:50This morning, we got breaking news that the Yankees have announced that All-Star Nestor

00:56Cortez will now be on the mound for the winner-take-all game, and that is great.

01:05While I respect the season that Jamison Tyone has had, 14-5 with an ERA under four, is a

01:13very good record in ERA in the American League East.

01:17Nestor Cortez was an All-Star, 12-4 with a 2.44 ERA.

01:23Also had a good start in this series as well in Game 2, which was unfortunately wasted by

01:29the Yankees' bullpen.

01:31Meanwhile, but yes, I love Nestor Cortez in this spot.

01:34He is a fan favorite.

01:36The Yankee Stadium crowd will already be electrified, but when you have nasty Nestor Cortez who resembles

01:43Super Mario out there on the mound, that will be extra enthusiasm for the Yankee fans to

01:51behold, and I think this has got good mojo written all over it right now.

01:56Now I'm feeling good about the Yankees.

01:58I was nervous as hell last night.

02:21If you save your Jersey Mike's in the fridge for a day, if you get the roast beef with oil

02:27and vinegar, which I do, the oil and vinegar soaks right into the bread and the meat, and

02:31in my estimation, it's possibly even more delicious the next day with a 24-hour soak.

02:50And now that's going to start at 8 o'clock, so they made sure that the games won't be competing.

02:57Good for the Philadelphia Phillies, who knocked off the Braves, winners of over 100 games.

03:04Meanwhile, the Padres, of course, upset the L.A. Dodgers, who had the best record in all

03:09of baseball.

03:10The winner of the Phillies and Padres goes on to the World Series, so locally, I'm pulling

03:15for the Philadelphia Phillies.

03:18The Chargers beat the Broncos on Monday night football in overtime last night.

03:22Final score, Chargers 19, Broncos 16.

03:26Georgia's Justin Herbert was solid.

03:28He's a great QB, but just, you know, he's pretty solid.

03:32But nevertheless, the Chargers advance to 4-2.

05:53He said that the modern-day player, their feelings are, they get hurt too easily.

05:58And they hate when they get criticized on TNT.

06:01And he says, I'm sick of it.

06:02I'm going to retire in a year.

06:04So TNT came back with $200 million for Sir Charles.

06:07That's a nice little nugget for him.

06:09Yeah, he basically said, well, guess I get to hurt the feelings of the modern-day players
