00:04where we thought the Yankees had turned the corner offensively,
00:08but they go out and lose two in a row to the last place, Oakland A's.
00:12Yesterday, the Yanks lost to the A's 4-1 yet again.
00:17Can't hit.
00:17The Yanks end up getting just three runs in the final two games of the series
00:21as they split that four-game set with the A's,
00:26who are last in the AL West at 48-81.
00:31What happened, Dave? What happened?
00:34They can't freaking hit.
00:35They can't hit again.
00:38Just sitting here watching this awful team hit.

00:44We all saw the writing on the wall that they couldn't hit,
00:47and they can't hit.

00:55And a million different hitters because we all watch the games,

01:19Max Scherzer pitched well for the Mets, but he receives the loss.
01:23The Mets dropped to 82-47, still three games ahead of the Braves
01:28for first place in the NL East.
01:30The Phillies were shut out by the Pirates 5-0.
01:34The Phillies at 72-56, still in the second NL wildcard spot,
01:40two and a half games ahead of the Padres.

01:43The Jets beat the Giants in preseason football yesterday.
01:47Final score, 31-27.
01:50Pretty good game.
01:51Nice to get some scores in there.

01:54We watched a lot of it, actually.
01:56Mike White threw well for the Jets.
01:59He was 13-17 in the air for 170 yards, two touchdowns, and no interceptions.
02:06Quarterback Davis Webb, he looked good for the Giants.
02:09In fact, he's looked good all preseason.
02:12The reason why he had to play a bunch in this game is because, actually,
02:16Giants backup Tyrod Taylor, who was starting the game, he got injured early.
02:22So Webb did most of the playing for the Giants.
02:24He was 30 for 38 for 202 yards, a touchdown, and no picks.
02:29Davis Webb may have played himself onto this team.
02:31As for Tyrod Taylor, no word yet on how severe his injury is.
02:36But we don't like that because he was looked at as, you know, a pretty good and capable backup QB.
02:41Then again, this Davis Webb has played really well, and maybe he's going to be the backup QB.

02:47Former NBA player Terrence Williams has pleaded guilty to conspiring to commit health care fraud and identity theft
02:56in the connection with a multi-million dollar scam against the Basketball League's health plan.
03:02So that is a weird one.
03:04And golf Rory McIlroy won the FedEx Cup yesterday, rallying from six shots down to come back
03:14and defeat Scotty Scheffler in dramatic fashion.
03:17It's McIlroy's third FedEx victory.
