00:15my favorite thing it's we're a huge football family yeah and i love it so much i being from

00:20new york um am a huge new york giants fan my dad um like i'm born and raised like a giants

00:29fan my kids do i say that about you i literally don't talk because you guys beat us twice you

00:35don't have to say anything you beat the patriots twice in the super bowl just say it i um so when

00:40i the year i was born um they won the super bowl the year jayden was born they won the super bowl

00:46and then four years later they won the super bowl again so um that's when we had roman and we're

00:51like all right well we have kids didn't work out no don't work out that time so we said no more kids

00:56um anyways i wasn't always a football fan i was always a giants fan if that makes any sense so i

01:03always watched the giants but i never watched everything until i met my husband when i met my

01:08husband all he did on sunday was watch football and so i'd sit there and i'm like how am i going to

01:15enjoy this time i i don't know anything about anything unless the giants are playing yeah so i

01:22decided to start betting on football because if i bet on football i have some like i have a reason

01:27in the game now you have a reason to care yeah so i was bartending at the time and i would go around

01:33to everybody at the bar on fridays and saturdays and i would say who is your number one pick who's

01:38your number one pick and collectively i would get a parlay and i would go to the sports book and i

01:44would win most of the time um but how much more money did you make working there so much more

01:52just in the betting alone so much more yeah clean it up yeah so i learned a lot uh in betting football

01:59and now i of course love all things football but um when i first first started uh yeah they would tell

02:05me who their number one pick was i would go to the sports book i would do my six uh my five team

02:12six point teasers and um i we would go to his uncle's house watch football well in the beginning

02:18i wasn't really quite sure how exactly it worked yeah i just knew whoever i picked needed to win

02:24right wrong it's they need to cover so we were sitting there one day and i threw my tickets in

02:32the trash and i was like ah loser again and and my husband's uncle said you won they covered i was like

02:38what is covering he's like amy they just need to cover the points oh it's so sweet so bad so i i

02:46went in the trash i got my ticket out sure enough it was a winner i don't know how many tickets i

02:50threw out before that i'm sure a handful but that is how i started betting football and now i love

02:56i love betting football another story that same year i went to the sports book it was saturday night

03:01after work that's when i was putting my super bowl tickets in the saints were playing the colts

03:06i believe and um i said hey how many yards do you think reggie bush is going to rush for yeah called

03:15my husband and asked him he said i don't know babe this is your thing like this is not my thing i said

03:20okay click and i put my bets in i ended up winning like 600 700 and he said how much did we win i said

03:27this is not your thing i won six seven hundred dollars you are poor

03:34we posed the question online overnight we were like hey if you had a hundred dollars to bet who do

03:41you think is going to win the big game this year because this is it's interesting or week one

03:45no big game i just go well that's how that's how i post it there but like you know i i have money

03:51in my uh my stn sports app i am going to start betting this year this i don't i've never

03:57really bet sports i'm going to give it a shot this year okay i but i maybe i need your help

04:01because i'm really not great at this uh 14 parlay go four or five what do you i went i did five i would

04:06do a five five team parlay six point teaser so if on the board they say that the patriots are supposed

04:14to win by three that means minus three okay you add six points to it all right so so you get

04:21favored so now at this point they're plus three so they can lose by up to three points okay yeah so

04:27the odds the money you win is a little bit less because you have better odds of winning i i almost

04:32feel like i feel like my man card is going to be stolen from me every time i walk into a sports book

04:37because i look at like this big board with all these numbers i'm like i don't know what this means

04:42yeah i don't know i like i i don't do spreads i literally just say who wins i can't do it like it

04:48all it brings me so much anxiety yeah i have no idea i mean i i guess it did for me too in the

04:54beginning but i truly love it and and you don't even have to bet a ton of money it just is fun to

04:58do if you go and put five dollars on a team you're gonna win four bucks but if in fact you do win but

05:05it's still fun to do it really is sure that's a sure bet a sure bet make some money uh so there are

05:11no sure but that's true this is the weird part about being in vegas though because i mean we didn't

05:15have a team for so long and there's so many transplants and there are people that are born and

05:19raised here that ended up being fans of teams of the packers the bears like from all over yeah so

05:26there are these sports bars that are team bars now the raiders are here but the team bars still

05:33exist yeah so it's like it's such an a weird like only vegas has this sort of feeling right it's so

05:41super strange when we pose this question uh see the jeff says the jets i'm gonna tell you right now

05:47he said he already made the bet sorry they're handsome um soccer vegas mom says the bucks i i

05:54i mean don't bet against tom brady it's usually a bad idea when i agreed with her i was thinking for

05:59week one and that is my first sure bet for week one so if you are going to go and bet put money

06:04on the box i believe they're only favored by two it's a surefire there we go that's the that's the

06:08that's my amy that's the amy guarantee but again it's not till next week all right guys so relax

06:13every time you make a pick we should just have one pick that you do this is a guaranteed win okay

06:19if you can go 17 and oh these are 17 games now that's very difficult if you go seven i just want

06:25you to make one pick and it's the guarantee or the spread the spread ah all right if you could do

06:46it all and this is the thing what about the bills why is everybody underestimating the bill and actually

06:55it's just fun yeah uh the bills and the bucks are tied for the super bowl odds plus 600 which means

07:01they're the most likely to win as far as the betting is concerned you mean minus uh well plus

07:07plus 600 to win the whole thing for a super bowl interesting yeah and then uh the worst team the

07:13houston texans and the atlanta falcons and the giants the atlanta falcons after losing to the

07:17patriots that year should have just left the league my you know my dad and i only get excited the past 10

07:22years we haven't been great at all and so we only will get really excited for weeks one and two and

07:28then the rest of the time we're like it's football touch the browns yeah
