11th Hour Rescue has over 100 kittens and cats looking to be adopted.

00:00Hi, it's DHA's Rock and Rough, and I am Terri Carr. We've got kittens, kittens, kittens, kittens.

00:10Let me tell you, we're going to do our best with these guys because it's a little tough with kittens.

00:15They want to hang out. They want to play. All right, you can go down, but look at this face.

00:19Just look at this face. I need a home, and I want to play with you.

00:23I am here with my good friend Roger Kaiser, by the way, from 11th Hour Rescue, and Randolph,

00:27it is so good to be doing Rock and Rough in person with you again.

00:29It's so nice to be back, Terri.

00:31Now, when I reached out to you, and we're going to help our kitten wranglers just keep an eye on these guys.

00:35When I reached out to you, and I said, we're doing Rock and Rough live at the studios again, please come down.

00:40You said to me, TC, we need help with cats. We need help with kittens. We are overrun.

00:45We've got 100 right now at the shelter facility in various locations.

00:50Talk to me a little bit about your cat program, Raj.

00:52So the three adorable guys we brought here are all from the same litter.

00:55Where I'm currently holding Portia, we have Eddie and Johnny are wrangling around as well.

01:00So our cat program has really taken off in the last few years.

01:03We have, like Terri said, over 100 cats and kittens in the program right now, ready for adoption.

01:0950 of those 100 are kittens.

01:11So just like this.

01:12These guys are about four months old and ready to go looking for their home.

01:15So our kitten program really needs help.

01:18We need adoptions, we need fosters, we need supplies, donations, anything and everything to help cats out.

01:25We go through kitty litter like you wouldn't believe with that many cats and kittens.

01:29Oh my goodness.

01:30And look at the little face.

01:32Now this is Portia, and she's got two brothers.

01:34They're from the same litter.

01:35You've got a beautiful black cat.

01:36I'm like a black cat maniac.

01:38Love, love, love them.

01:39And then our little tiger.

01:40So the three that we have, Portia, Eddie, and Johnny.

01:43Johnny, yep.

01:43But of course, there are 97 more that are waiting to meet you.

02:12These kittens are friendly, vetted, playful, and will make great, great family members.

02:1711th Hour Rescue is also looking for volunteers, donations of food, and especially kitty litter,

02:23and new families for all of the beautiful cats that are living in the shelter and at shelter spaces in northern New Jersey.

02:46Yeah, we're not wrangling them quite so much right now.

02:51We're pointing like Amy, our sales assistant, is like, over there, over there.

02:54We're just trying to wrangle the kittens, but they're having such a great time.

02:58Now, Raj, you guys also have, in addition to your shelter space, other locations that people can visit all of the cats and kittens that you have.

03:04So that's a great point.

03:05So to look at cats, more like adult cats, our Rockaway Mall location, lower level, outside of the old Sears, we're there all the time.

03:14Whenever the mall is open, we're there.

03:16We have a number of our adult cats there.

03:18The kittens we tend to highlight on Sundays at the Roxbury Mall right next to GameStop.

03:23So Roxbury Mall, just for the afternoon, and we typically have our kittens there.

03:28So, you know, if you want to see the cats, you want to see the kittens, you have several locations.

03:33But really, everything's on our website, EHRdogs.org.

03:36The application is there.

03:38All the information is there.

03:39All the cats and dogs are there as well.

03:42And I always say, you know, cats and kittens, and I hate to interrupt you, EHRdogs.org, you can always do two.

03:52These little guys and gals are hanging out and playing and doing everything.

03:55And that's kind of, you can do them in pairs.

03:58It happens a lot that two get adopted at the same time.
