Thanks to our friends at Nevada Fertility Center, we are giving away IVF treatments to an amazing family in Las Vegas. Meet Hope and Michael Dimmick. She is a nurse and he is a police officer here in Las Vegas and they have been struggling to conceive for quite some time now. Michael's mother, Jennifer, nominated them for the "Bless You With Baby" contest on our website and were chose to receive the big prize. They finally got to speak to Dr. Peterson of NVF about the process and what happens next.

00:16So, we have our friends from Nevada Fertility Center here to kind of talk to our winners.

00:21Our winners, Hope and Michael Dimmick, who are going to be blessed with a baby.

00:26They were a huge part of the story reading and choosing and, you know, reading into everything.

00:32And that's Jennifer, the mother-in-law slash mother who wrote the letter in the first place behind us.

00:37So, Doctor, can you tell us a little bit, you know, we had you in studio not too long ago,

00:43telling us what it's going to be like and what, you know, infertility is for so many couples.

00:47But why don't you tell them a little bit about this experience?

00:50Sure, so we're going to do basically just our standard workup,

00:54make sure we understand what potential fertility things are going on for you guys.

00:58We'll find the root cause and see what we can do to help you have a baby.

01:02Awesome, thank you!

01:04Yeah, that usually includes evaluating the uterus.

01:06We want to make sure that it's a healthy cavity that's ready to accept a pregnancy.

01:09Sometimes that involves assessing the tubes to make sure that they're open.

01:12We'll assess the sperm, make sure we've got good gametes on the other side of this

01:15and look for any other endocrine problems that might pop up in the workup.

01:19Okay, we're ready. We're so ready.
