00:03We just had it between Christina and Will.

00:06Will is very financially responsible, but maybe does not have the best timing.

00:10Yeah, I mean, there were so many other options he could have come up with,

00:13and the one he chose, well, it wasn't working.

00:16Christina was not having it. Here it is.

00:18Trying to help out Will this morning on the 7.15 second date update.

00:22Kevin, first impressions.

00:23Yeah, he said that she checked all the boxes,

00:26and they went to dinner at Noble Crust, and he said it wasn't just pretty.

00:31She had the brains and had everything else.

00:34And you ask, did something on the date happen?

00:36And he's like, no, I don't think so.

00:38And Lana asked, do you feel like she was engaged in you and interested in you?

00:42He said, yeah, I thought the conversation went well.

00:45So here's what we're going to do.

00:46We're going to try to call Christina and see if we can get her on the phone.

01:18I know this is a strange phone call to get to start your morning.

01:22We wanted to see if we could talk to you, though, for a second.

01:24This is going to sound like a lot, but I promise you it's not that big a deal.

01:27We wanted to talk to you on the air about a date you recently went on.

01:31Would that be cool if we just asked you a couple questions for a few minutes?

01:36I guess so.

01:37Okay.

01:38So we're doing something called a 7-15, a second date update.

01:41We talk to people about dates they go on.

01:42There's a date we wanted to ask you about.

01:45There's this guy, Will, who reached out to us.

01:47Here's what we know about you and Will.

01:48I guess you guys were set up by some mutual friends.

01:51I hear you laughing, I think.

01:52And we went to, you guys went to Noble Crust.

01:56He said, you checked all the boxes.

01:59He thought you were fun, funny, smart, all of the above, and really enjoyed being around you.

02:06He's gone over this date in his head.

02:07He cannot think of anything that went wrong.

02:10He felt like you were very interested as well.

02:12And now he's kind of like, what happened?

02:14I can't get a hold of her since the date.

02:15So we are going to ask you, what's the deal?

02:18That's even more concerning to me that he has no idea.

02:24For me, he just checked the finances.

02:30So basically, I felt like I was on a date with my father.

02:33Before, like, he, so when we sat down, like, everything was fine.

02:37He seemed great.

02:37He seemed normal.

02:38And then he was like, you know, what are you going to order?

02:41And I was like, you know, thinking about it.

02:43And I don't even remember what I ordered.

02:45And he started writing it down, like, the price.

02:49And then he wrote down what he was going to order.

02:52So he was, like, adding up, like, how much it was going to be.

02:56And then he was like, oh, like, are you going to get an appetizer?

02:59I was like, well, I guess now I'm not in my head.

03:02You know, I'm, like, thinking, like, should I just order water and breathe?

03:06Like, I don't know.

03:08It was so bizarre and uncomfortable.

03:11And it's, like, if he's budgeting or anything, like, you know, I don't know what his financial situation is.

03:17But, like, we honestly could have just, like, met for coffee.

03:20And that would have been fine.

03:21Now, did you guys agree to split the bill or anything?

03:25Or did he ask?

03:26Was he adamant about paying?

03:27I offered to pay, which, I mean, I kind of think is ridiculous.

03:30But I would have been more than happy to pay to not feel like I, like, owed him something.

03:34You know what I mean?

03:35Like, I've just never, I've never seen that before.

03:37And it was just, like, really uncomfortable.

03:39And I think completely unnecessary.

03:42I don't know.

03:44All right.

03:44I just want to make sure I have this clear.

03:46Before you guys even order food, he's asking you, hey, what do you think about getting?

03:50And then when he asks you that, he's then looking at the prices on the menu and writing it down.

03:55This is all before you order or before a check comes or anything like that.

03:59Yeah.

04:01I have never heard of anybody doing that.

04:04So did you go and order the most expensive thing on the menu then?

04:07I wouldn't.

04:07I know.

04:08I thought he was just asking, like, making conversation.

04:11Like, you know, what kind of food do you like or whatever?

04:13You know, it was just.

04:14Okay.

04:14Well, listen, this is very interesting.

04:16Like I said, I've never heard this before.

04:18We actually have Will on the phone.

04:19I really want to know what he was thinking when it came to this.

04:22Will.

04:23Yeah.

04:24Does that sound accurate?

04:26Uh, yeah.

04:27I mean, that's, that's a, I guess, accurate about me drawing down some notes.

04:31I mean, I do like to keep a budget.

04:33I like to keep track of my money, but I don't see what, what the problem is there.

04:37I don't think, I don't see why that wouldn't be kind of an attractive quality.

04:40I mean, I'm somebody who handles my money.

04:42I'm organized and I like to just pay attention to it.

04:45I mean, I handle my money as well.

04:47Like, you know, even if you were budgeting, Oh, a hundred dollars for dinner, a hundred

04:51fifty dollars for dinner.

04:52It's like you were writing down like the $29.

04:55I mean, it was just, I can't be with somebody who's that penny pinching.

04:59Look, I just don't want to be surprised by the bill.

05:02I like to kind of keep things moment to moment, like just wind up.

05:04I don't think it was a surprise.

05:06The prices were listed.

05:07I mean, it's not like I ordered tuna, you know, tartare flown in from Japan.

05:13I mean, it was, it was pretty.

05:15Look, okay.

05:16Look, I'm look, I grant you that I'm like, I'm detail oriented.

05:21I like to keep track of things, but it just sounds like you're, you're not as concerned

05:24about money and that's you.

05:25All right.

05:26That we're, we're different people.

05:27Now you're, now you're like critiquing me that I, I am very in check with my finances.

05:34This on a date made me uncomfortable.

05:36That's really it.

05:37Well, can you see how that would be uncomfortable for somebody when they are, you're asking

05:40like, Hey, what are you thinking about ordering?

05:41And then as soon as they tell you, you're then jotting down the price.

05:45Like, can you see how that would make someone feel?

05:47I don't know if it's the word of self-conscious, but just very awkward.

05:50Yeah.

05:51I mean, I guess again, we have, we have different philosophies about money and I'm granting you

05:55they have a different philosophy.

05:56Again, I like to guys stay in the moment.

05:58I can add, and it's just, let's say, let's say I was doing the same thing.

06:02I don't need to write it down in front of somebody else.

06:04I actually have a mental calculator.

06:06So.

06:07I can't even imagine what it's like for you to go to Publix when you're throwing all

06:10those groceries in your car, trying to add all that stuff up.

06:12I do have money.

06:16I'm not going to disclose what I have.

06:17No, no, no.

06:18That's all we're saying.

06:21We're just saying adding it up in front of somebody that you just met on a first date

06:25is a very awkward thing.

06:26We're saying whatever you make and whatever your budget is at home, you don't then bring

06:32that to the dinner table when you're meeting someone for the first time.

06:35Does that make sense?

06:37Well, I'm going to just ask because I have to ask legally.

06:40No, not really.

06:41But Christina, are you willing to go on another date?

06:44I don't, I know it's a dumb question.

06:47You were a nice guy, but it's just like, it seems like it would be a very stressful life

06:51and I'd always be uncomfortable about money and I just can't live like that.

06:55Well, Will, I don't think there's anything wrong with being responsible about finances
