00:00All right, so Saturday, Lakers take on the Minnesota Timberwolves.

00:03The Timberwolves have been one of those teams that, you know,

00:06pretty much have played to the competition that they have.

00:10So if they play a really good team, they tend to play well.

00:12If they play a bad team, sometimes they play down.

00:15The Lakers are pretty big favorites to win the series,

00:17minus 172 as they open up this one in L.A.

00:21Total amount of games over-under is five and a half, so that's minus 158.

00:25Oddsmakers are telling us this is going to be maybe a six-game series,

00:29potentially seven, and the under is plus 128.

00:32I mean, certainly the Lakers with Luka, and we'll get to him in a second, Gilbert,

00:35are the better team on paper here.

00:37But let's be honest.

00:38I mean, Minnesota has shown they can beat anybody in the NBA.

00:41So maybe this will go the distance.

00:44Yeah, it's been interesting.

00:45There's been a lot of confidence and a little arrogance coming from Lakers fans

00:48and a Lakers faction, which is very typical of that fan base,

00:51no disrespect, but that's how it is.

00:53But I think that they're underestimating this Timberwolves team a little bit.

00:56And I think people are thinking back to what Luka Doncic with the Mavericks

00:59did against the Timberwolves last year.

01:01But this Lakers team is completely different from that team.

01:04I think the interior advantage that the Timberwolves have with Rudy Gobert

01:08and Julius Randle, if he can finally put his playoff woes behind him,

01:11will be a big thing that's going to happen and define this series.

01:15And then who's going to guard Anthony Edwards?

01:17That's a big deal.

01:17And he's a guy who, if he doesn't have anybody that can slow him down,

01:21he can have a good series and keep things close.

01:23I do lean Lakers in this series, but I don't think it's going to be a four or five game series.

01:28I think it's going to take six games for the Lakers to get this done.

01:31So I would take that over five and a half because I do think the Timberwolves talent

01:35and the way that that roster is constructed is going to give the Lakers some problems.

01:38But ultimately, Lakers have more talent with Luka and LeBron

01:41and also J.J. Reddick's the tactician.
