00:19kaugnay ng epekto ng global tariffs na ipinataw ng Amerika.
00:23Sa press briefing sa Malacanang, ibinahagi ni Special Assistant to the President for Investment and Economic Affairs,
00:33Secretary Frederick Goh, na partikular na tinalakay ang mga sektor at industriya sa pag-e-export na maapektuhan ng taripa.
00:43Tawag na'y dito, sinabi ni Goh na personal siyang magtutungo sa Amerika para makipag-usap sa United States Trade Representative.
00:53So we've reached out to the USTR, and we have communicated with them our desire to engage in a meeting or dialogue with them.
01:02And they have positively responded.
01:05So I will be scheduling a trip to the United States to meet with the USTR soon.
01:15Kinumpirma rin ni Goh, nakasalukuyan ang nakikipagpulong ang economic team.
01:19At ng US tarif sa ASEAN region.
01:27Ayon kay Goh, tatlong paksa ang planong idulog ng ASEAN sa Amerika.
01:31First is to reaffirm the long, enduring, and strong relationship with the US.
01:39Second, though, is to express their concern over these unilateral tariffs that are being imposed on the ASEAN.
01:48And third, is to engage in a frank and constructive dialogue with the US to reaffirm their readiness or our readiness in ASEAN to work together to explore mutually acceptable solutions on issues of common interest.
02:07Nilinaw naman ni Secretary Goh, nahangad ng ASEAN na panatilihin ang bilateral relations sa Amerika at bumuo ng kooperasyon sa halip na retaliation o ganti sa ipinatao na taripa.
02:22Ayon sa National Economic and Development Authority, posibleng magkaroon ng 0.1% na epekto sa gross domestic product ng Pilipinas sa susunod na dalawang taon, ang reciprocal tariffs ng USA.
02:37Iminungkahi naman ni Goh, ang patuloy na pakikipag-usap at pag-alalay ng gobyerno sa exporters, kaakibat ng pakikipag-ugnayan sa mga kasamaang bansa sa ASEAN.
02:47Angelique, sinabi ng Malacanang, nakakausapin din ni Sekretary Goh ang Pangulo, kaugnay ng utos ni US President Donald Trump na pansamantalang suspindihin sa loob ng siyamnapung araw ang ipinatao na reciprocal tariffs maliban lamang sa China.
