00:15inaasahang magiging madali pa rin ang pagpasok ng mga produktong Pilipino sa Estados Unidos

00:21lalo na at maraming tumatangkilik nito doon.

00:24Kaugnay niyan, nilinaw naman ni Trade Secretary Maria Cristina Roque

00:28na hindi gaganti ang Pilipinas laban sa 17% tariff na ipinatao ng U.S. sa ating bansa.

00:35Sa ngayon, aniya, magpupulong ang mga bansang kasapi ng ASEAN para bumuo na ng kakaisang hakpa.

00:43Pilipino entrepreneurs export to the United States are basically Filipino products.

00:48It's noodles with different flavors of bok choy, you've got the ketchup, a fran, jufran,

00:54you've got many of the local Filipino products that will be able to still penetrate.

01:01And I don't think they're all sold in Filipino stores.

01:04So these are really still not mainstream products in the United States,

01:09but they're mainstream products in many of the Oriental stores.

01:13So I don't think the impact is going to be that big for the Philippines.

01:16We have a meeting on Thursday with the different ministers of ASEAN and let's see what we can agree on there

01:24and we can see what we can really do to be able to at least work hand in hand as ASEAN.

01:31Us, we have a 17% tariff, so we must use this low tariff to be able to really push Philippine products

01:39and also Philippine investments nationwide, I mean international and globally and locally also.
