00:00The government's agency has a role to play in the eruption of Vulcan Canlaon.

00:14Yes, Aljo, the government promised a whole-of-government approach in response to the eruption of Vulcan Canlaon.
00:23In the palace briefing, PCO Undersecretary and Palace Press Officer Atty. Claire Castro said
00:30that the government's agencies are already alert.
00:34In fact, the DSWD is already aware of the situation
00:37by preparing a family food pack for the families living in the affected areas.
00:45The services are still being provided according to the Directive of the President.
00:52The DSWD, as of April 8, said that the field offices in Western and Central Visayas
01:03are closely coordinating with the affected local government units
01:09and will continue to provide family food packs and non-food items to the affected locals.
01:21The health department also reminded the residents living near the volcano
01:25to wear masks and clothes that will protect their skin from the eruption of the volcano,
01:30which, according to the agency, is dangerous.
01:33Residents are also being encouraged to wear masks to avoid any emergency situations.
01:39While the Canlaon City Government, Aljo, also issued a notice
01:43prohibiting entry into the 6-kilometer danger zone of the volcano
01:48for their safety, especially since the volcano remains on alert level 3.
01:52The palace assured the government's readiness
01:55in case the local government needs additional funds.
