I'm in St. Teresa's School in Hartlepool and I'm with Mr Ellis. Mr Ellis, I believe you've won a robotics award?
00:07
Yes, so after competing in Telford a few weeks back, we won the regional to qualify us for Telford.
00:16
And we came top first.
00:19
Then we had an intense tiebreaker match in front of hundreds of people.
00:23
But we sadly missed out just however our outstanding performance meant that.
00:29
We've qualified now for the World Championships.
00:31
When are they going to be held and when?
00:33
So it's all the way over in America, in Texas, Dallas and it's in May.
00:39
And we've got £20,000 to raise before we can go.
00:44
You must be excited.
00:45
We're very excited. We've got very excited children as well.
00:49
They don't look that excited. They're sitting there nice and quiet.
00:51
You've obviously just heard a word before I came in.
00:54
How are they when they're away from school?
00:56
They've been great. I think it's been really good for their confidence and their resilience.
01:00
And I think obviously the next step is it's a six-day trip over to America with a three-day competition.
01:07
With hundreds and hundreds from all around the world competing at the biggest stage of robotics in the world.
