00:00The Department of Health, or DOH, does not stop its campaign against TIGDAS.

00:05That's why the agency is continuously launching a wide-ranging measles catch-up immunization

00:11in Metro Manila, even in other parts of the country.

00:20Princess, the Department of Health's reminder to the public from TIGDAS

00:26More than 300% of cases of TIGDAS were reported in Quezon City this year

00:32compared to the previous year based on the results of the Quezon City Epidemic Surveillance Division.

00:41More than 100 cases of TIGDAS or measles were reported in the city this year.

00:46The most affected are children under the age of 5.

00:50In these cases, 60% were not yet vaccinated or the vaccine against TIGDAS was not yet complete.

00:57That's why the DOH and the local government are asking the public to visit the nearest health center

01:04in their area for additional information about the free vaccine.

01:09According to the last report of the DOH,

01:11the number of cases of measles or rubella from January to March 1 of this year reached more than 300,000.

01:18That's more than 30% compared to the same period last year.

01:24Although the number of cases is increasing,

01:26the spread of TIGDAS through vaccines will be stopped

01:30and the cleanliness of the body and surroundings will be different.

01:36These complications can be avoided if children are vaccinated against TIGDAS.

01:42The vaccination of measles, mumps, and rubella for children from 9 to 12 months is still ongoing in health centers.

01:57to conduct a wide-ranging measles catch-up immunization in different parts of the Philippines
