Woman's death treated as suspicious after body found at Christie Downs home

A woman has been found dead in a unit in Adelaide's south this morning. A neighbour raised the alarm and police are treating the death as suspicious.

00:07Police found a 43-year-old woman dead on the balcony of her home on Rufus Crescent.

00:12It's never good when you lose a life.

00:15Neighbours heard an altercation in the early hours of the morning.

00:18I was about 3 o'clock this morning, there was a lot of yelling, but I just went back

00:22inside, I was like normal, so we ignored it.

00:25But they were still surprised when they woke to hear what had happened.

00:28It's quite disturbing being so close to home.

00:31Police say the woman appeared uninjured.

00:33Police are now conducting an investigation to determine the cause of death.

00:36We're initially treating it as suspicious, given the circumstances.

00:40The woman lived with her 54-year-old partner in the unit.

00:49Police say the 54-year-old man was at the scene when they arrived, but that he was not

00:57They say that he was arrested at the scene for assaulting police, and was taken to the
