Best places to live in Glasgow according to Glaswegians

00:00My friends are all around like Govan Hill and around Pollock Shields and that.

00:05So my favourite neighbourhood in Glasgow I think would be Shawlins actually.

00:09I live in Tradeston but I'm hoping to move to Shawlins in the next little while.

00:12Just, you know, the perfect blend of everything.

00:15City centre is great, but like being a bit further out, bigger grocery stores, easier to shop,

00:22lots of good food options, lots of places to go out, so yeah.

00:27I went to school in the West End, which I know is a little controversial, but I like the West End.

00:32It's probably my favourite bit of Glasgow.

00:33All the people I've met are very friendly, like yeah, very accepting, like there's a lot.

00:39A lot seems to be going on there, especially from where I come from, because I come from a very rural area.

00:45There's a range of shops.

00:47You obviously get the high market stuff and then you get all the weird quirky places

00:51that you've never even heard of until you like turn down a random street and you're like,

00:55oh, that's where they sell old comic books, I guess.
