We ask the people of Glasgow what they think about Dundee being voted the Sunday Times’ best place to live in Scotland

We took to Argyle Street to query what the people of Glasgow think about Sunday Times’ recent best place to live list.

00:00 West End of Dundee has been voted Sunday Times Best Place to Live. What do you think about that?

00:04 I think that's spot on because that's where I come from originally. I think it's a really nice

00:08 place to stay, there's lots of stuff to do, there's odd bits of new development as well,

00:14 so I think it's quite an up-and-coming place.

00:17 I've never been to Dundee before. I think the best place to live,

00:19 in my opinion, is somewhere rural. So if it's rural then sure, great, but like I said I have no idea.

00:26 Is there anywhere this brings to mind? Where would you like to live?

00:29 Where would I like to live? Up in the Trossachs, in the Highlands,

00:33 kind of up towards Killen. That's my ideal place to live, where it's quiet.

00:37 I mean I have nothing against Dundee per se. I've only really been to Dundee a few times in my life

00:42 and from my experience of Dundee, well obviously I'm not being biased because of where I come from.

00:48 I come from Glasgow. I feel like Glasgow has a lot more to offer, you know like schools,

00:53 retail as well, especially in Glasgow as well. When I was in Dundee I never really got that much

00:59 experience.
