00:05Cherami represents the concept of all chairs, and as such, she is a jack-of-all-trades useful

00:11in any situation. She prides herself on fitting into whatever role is needed to make things

00:17run smoothly. A stern office chair, a matronly rocking chair, a boozy lounge chair for the

00:23late evenings, you name it. Cherami is played by Cherami Leigh. Let's sit back and enjoy.

00:53I had an audience.

01:05She draws a hand over her face, perhaps to help her concentrate. And then...

01:10Hail, fair traveler. Have you seen a sword in these woods? A sword that sparkles with

01:17the light of the evening sun, even in the darkest of nights.

01:24Acting, of course.

01:27I put on a different play each day of the week. Today is Fantasy Friday.

01:34The play of the day is Everblade. I'm playing Spindle, a forest spirit trying to save her

01:41home by finding a magic sword.

01:44Hey, you wouldn't be interested in joining me up here, would you?

01:54Great. Can't wait to see what you can do. I'm sure you'll break a leg. But don't break

01:59too many. I only have four of them.

02:04Oh! There is no script.

02:09We each pick stock roles and then improvise our way through a little sketch. The genre

02:14is our guide. We're very comedia dell'arte here. I'll give you a character, and you can

02:20direct the story from there.

02:25Oh, don't worry. It's no big deal. We're just playing. There are no stakes at all. We usually

02:31don't even have an audience. The important thing is that you have fun. Oh, and that you're

02:36comfortable. I am big on the actors being comfortable in their space, so we shouldn't

02:41do anything too intense before we get comfortable performing with one another. That means no

02:47roughhousing and no... for lack of a better word, no being a creep.

02:56So as long as you follow that rule, I'll play along with anything you say and do. I promise.

04:15Hello, audience! Oh, gee. Wasn't expecting the spotlight to be on me today.

04:23Florence is the personal assistant to Mayor Celia herself.

04:31I'm nobody special. Just focus on your performance.

04:34And no, I'll be cheering you on.

04:41Florence loves this fantasy stuff. She's a great audience, too. Very encouraging.

04:48Today's play is Everblade. I'll be playing a forest sprite. You play all who I encounter

04:57on my adventure.

05:01Lights up!

05:02Hail, wise wizard! I am Spindle, the sprite.

05:09My forest is dying. The flowers wilt and the leaves fall and die in all seasons.

05:17I beg of you, look into your crystal ball and tell me what I must do to save my home.

05:33And so, dear viewer, the sprite began her quest to seek the sword Everblade.

05:42Woo!

05:44She traveled far and on her road faced many dangers, such as...

05:54Oh, my! A bridge troll!

06:01Mercy, kind troll. I am but a humble forest sprite.

06:07We have no use for money and so I have nothing with which to pay the toll.

06:14Very well. If I must.

06:19But you should know that I come from a long line of powerful dancers.

06:24We have two left feet, but two right feet, as well.

06:46And so, the little wood sprite continued on her adventure.

06:52Finally, after many days and nights, she came to the resting place of the fabled Everblade.

07:00There, atop a mountain of discarded swords from days gone by, sat the dreaded Sword Lord.

07:09A terrifying warrior, clad from toe to tip in rusted metal hilts.

07:16Once a sword entered his collection, he would do anything to keep it.

07:22This would be tricky.

07:25Hail, Sword Lord!

07:29I am but a humble sprite, hailing from the forests far to the west.

07:34My home is doomed unless I have the power of the Everblade at my side.

07:39So, I beseech you.

07:43Can you, like, be cool about this?

07:52Oh, truly?

07:55My heart is filled with joy!

08:00Name your price, oh lord of bloodshed and tetanus!

08:14A successor?

08:17You jest!

08:19Surely a simple wood sprite could never live up to your legend!

08:30Hm?

08:32No way!

08:36You're... a wood sprite?!

08:45It cannot be!

08:47And now, you want me to take up the mantle?

09:07I see.

09:10Very well.

09:13It shall be done.

09:15I shall become the Sword Lord.

09:19And with this power, defend my forest from all those who would seek to see it leveled to the ground.

09:30Oh, great twist! I never would have expected it.

09:36Yeah, I'd definitely watch a sequel about that wood sprite going ham on some lumberjacks.

09:43Well, I don't know about all that.

09:46But either way, I loved it!
