A major security leak by senior U.S. government officials has triggered bipartisan anger.  U.S. war plans against Yemen's Houthis were posted in a Signal messaging group chat that included Vice President JD Vance, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth – and a journalist, mistakenly included. U.S. President Donald Trump told reporters he was unaware of the leak.   Under U.S. law, it can be a crime to mishandle, misuse or abuse classified information.
