'Romantic Life: Chopin, Scheffer, Delacroix, Sand' – a Parisian circle reimagined in Warsaw

Ary Scheffer’s Paris studio was a vibrant meeting place for painters, writers, and musicians - Chopin among them. A true centre of Romantic life in 19th-century Paris, its spirit has been revived at the Frederic Chopin Museum in Warsaw in a new exhibition.

00:00The exhibition Romantic Life, Chopin, Schaeffer, Delacroix, Saint seeks to recreate the atmosphere of romanticism in the first half of the 19th century.
00:11It was at this time that the close-knit circle of artists lived close to one another in Paris' new Athens district.
