00:00The Department of Social Welfare and Development Region 6 has now received the mobile kitchen from the central office

00:06that can help whenever there is a calamity in the said area.

00:10This is the national news of Marion Grace Ereñeta of Radyo Pilipinas, Iloilo.

00:17The disaster response of the government in Western Visayas is getting stronger.

00:22The Department of Social Welfare and Development or DSWD Field Office 6 has now received the mobile kitchen from the central office.

00:30With the help of the mobile kitchen, the internally displaced persons affected by the calamity and the virus

00:37will be given warm and nutritious food and will be kept in evacuation centers.

00:42And for more of our countrymen to be served,

00:46the mobile kitchen will be circulated in the region based on the needs and requests of the government agencies.

00:52First, if there is a disaster response operation.

00:58Second, if there is directives from the DSWD Secretary.

01:03Next, if there is a request from other DSWD officers and other partner agencies.

01:15One of the benefits of this is the evacuation from the volcanic eruption.

01:20If there is a major disaster, the items that can be found in the mobile kitchen,

01:26such as the generator, freezer, tabletop oven, four heavy-duty single burner gas stoves,

01:33and 200 liters stainless steel water tank, will be modernized.

01:36The mobile kitchen is just one of the steps of the government

01:40to quickly and effectively provide emergency assistance to those in need,

01:45as per the directive of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.
