00:00The Department of Social Welfare and Development or DSWD will further expand their No Hunger Kitchen Program.

00:07According to DSWD, this can be done in the second quarter of this year,

00:12where the pilot run of the program will end.

00:15One of the steps to further expand the No Hunger Kitchen Program

00:19is the strengthening of volunteers and food donators.

00:23The agency also targeted the deployment of mobile kitchens outside the National Capital Region or NCR.

00:29For now, the hub of the so-called program is located in a former Pogo building in Pasay City.

00:34The No Hunger Kitchen Program is one of the programs of President Ferdinand R. Marquez, Jr.,

00:39where its purpose is to ensure that Filipinos will no longer be hungry

00:44and also to address the food wastage of the country.

00:48Actually, the Department of Social Welfare and Development also procured mobile kitchens

00:54and this will be used in places affected by disasters

01:00so that we can provide alternative family food packs.

01:04Although our kitchen is located in Pasay,

01:09it also caters to nearby cities within the National Capital Region.

01:14So, what we are looking at now is the development of mobile kitchens.
