Popular restaurant chain is overhauling its massive menu

Sometimes 250 items just isn’t enough.

00:00The Cheesecake Factory is giving its massive menu an overhaul.

00:03The menu, which has more than 250 items to choose from, is dropping 13 of them.

00:07But don't worry, it's not due to struggling sales or anything to do with the tariffs.

00:10The restaurant chain has changed its menu twice a year for the past 40 years.

00:14So despite losing the white chicken chili and fried shrimp platter, the menu will be

00:18adding 20 new items for customers to choose from.

00:21And if the menu does seem wide-ranging, that's because, according to the founder and CEO

00:25David Overton, there's nothing that America wants to eat that can't go on the Cheesecake

00:29Factory menu.

00:30But the menu additions and subtractions aren't just about appeasing palates.

00:34The yearly changes have helped the Cheesecake Factory from suffering the same fate as some

00:38of its rivals.

00:39The company's stock is up 35% over the past year, and sales at locations that have been

00:43open for at least a year have dipped just once since 2023.

00:47The Cheesecake Factory has more than 200 locations in the U.S. and Canada.
