00:08I don't think we deserved it to be honest, it was a bit of a scrappy game, very similar

00:12to the Hamworth game where it was always going to be difficult because they're good at what

00:18they do.

00:19They didn't really, first half I was disappointed because I didn't feel they had to do a lot

00:25to get in front, bad defending, it's just one ball in the box.

00:30We didn't do anything, the pitch ain't great, it's the same for both teams but I think when

00:36we're looking to play like we do, and you could say well why do it, but we haven't got

00:42any other option really, we can't go long because we don't win headers.

00:45So that's our way of playing and it's just not enough when it's out there and we floated

00:49through the first half without doing anything and I think we had one chance didn't we in

00:54the second half.

00:55I think Harry's made a good save to be fair, they didn't have a lot either, it was a bit

00:59of another scrappy game on a Tuesday night but no spectacle, put it that way, and yeah

01:07I didn't feel we deserved anything really.

01:10Yeah I mean it was a scrappy game but it felt like it was always 1-0, you were in it more

01:17and it was always that possibility.

01:20Yeah and there's always that one moment and Ben unfortunately, he's done what he's

01:26thought right, he's took it early and maybe had a little bit more time but then things

01:31need to go in and if they do you sneak a point but maybe, I don't think they did a lot to

01:38deserve the win either, it was just a scrappy game with no real quality but the pitch weren't

01:44really conducive to having good quality.

01:46Yeah I mean the only difficult save Harry had to make was that quick reaction one in

01:51the second half wasn't it, from close range.

01:53Yeah he did and then they had the breakthrough obviously where he's done what Sheck did the

01:57other week where you've got to score those so we've got away with one there, they've

02:01got away with one with Ben so we could have lost 2-1, could have drawn 1-0 but we've lost

02:071-0.

02:08At half time what did you want in the second half?

02:11A bit more desire to be honest, a bit more competing and I felt we knew they'd be compact

02:18in the middle of the pitch and then we've got people taking two, three, four touches

02:21and they're going to get nailed and that's what they don't get, you're not going to

02:26be able to do little one-twos in there because they won't give you the time to do it and

02:30we could have just helped the ball on sometimes in behind if we were looking to play too much.

02:35We don't tell them to do that all the time, you've got to look at the state of the pitch

02:38and make better decisions. We wanted to play round but we didn't feel we had the quality

02:44to do it today.

02:45Obviously it's not something you can control but could the ref have maybe been a bit stronger

02:51I felt he gave, I mean immediately within five minutes I think Kai got absolutely nailed,

02:57oh that's not a bookie, I thought he booked him but he didn't. You could argue he knew

03:01he was saying he went to block the ball but for me he's late, he's caught him, it's not

03:06a good tackle, it should be a yellow card.

03:11Then there was another one straight after which he's given a foul, the lad, listen he's

03:15got the ball but he's gone in with his studs up, maybe, we've got a free kick for it so

03:20I don't know why that's not a book in and it's on the same player again and you're like

03:23what's going on? But they're putting their authority on the game early, ref didn't really

03:30deal with it, listen he's decided neither are yellow cards so he can't do a lot about

03:36it but then he does some frustrating things, I think Sheck kicked the ball away, put the

03:40ball in the net, didn't go that far, probably he's a book in.

03:45Then the nine kicked the ball away on a yellow card and with the laws of the game it's a

03:49book in, he's given me his reasons why it's not a second book in which I sort of understand

03:54but he kicked the ball away, it's a yellow card and he gives someone a yellow card later

03:59on for that exact same thing and he's telling me about the spirit of the game which I do

04:04get it, his reasoning is quite logical but as management teams and they'll be the same,

04:10when you see someone from the opposition kick the ball away and they don't get booked and

04:13then your player gets booked for it and then someone else doesn't, you're like why? Just

04:17book everyone for the same offence and then no one can say anything. But that wouldn't

04:21have, listen he would have got sent off, would that have made a difference? We would still

04:25struggle if I'm honest, I didn't feel we had any quality to break them down, they're

04:30resolute, they defend well and we didn't really, didn't really threaten enough to

04:36warrant winning or even getting a draw. Obviously the pitch is tough. The pitch is

04:41terrible, they had a game on it last night, we can make that an excuse but Saturday we

04:47played, we played well, although maybe they've got nothing to play for Harborough but we

04:53played well, the pitch was better. But we've played on better pitches this year and lost

04:58anyway so. And full-sound overhead on Saturday at home? Well I'm hoping we've got a bit

05:05of rain because the pitch is rock hard, it's really hard, it's like pre-season, just dirt

05:12and it's unforgiving, it's not good to play football on. So I'm hoping a bit of rain

05:19on Friday will hopefully soften it up a little bit, it might be a little bit

05:23easier to play on and another tough game. They all think they've got an outside chance

05:28if they can put a run together to get in the play-offs, which I don't think they will

05:32but it's a difficult game. We know obviously four of their players used to play for us so

05:38a bit different, a bit different to the Hanworth and Hartleys who are good at what they do,

05:43they've got a bit of everything. Difficult sides to play against, I don't think

05:47Leverhead are like that, a bit nicer. Not that the other teams are horrible but they

05:52just know what they're good at, they're good, they mix it up.
