00:22moan about, I thought there was a couple of penalty shouts that the ref didn't give for

00:26whatever reason, he's tried explaining one of them to me and it just doesn't make sense.

00:31But we didn't take the good chances that we had, and then we get punished by, were they

00:35a side that, they're a good side, they carved us open, no we gave, we didn't defend well

00:41if I'm honest, in the first half the defending was poor, the three goals they scored were,

00:46I mean they followed them up well, we haven't been alert, and from our point of view we

00:52look at them and we're criticising the lads for the fact that we need to stop conceding

00:55goals, because we gave ourselves a mountain to climb in a game that I still felt at half-time

01:08I thought we were the better team, but it's about three points and we didn't get it, they

01:12did, and they've come off it talking about getting in the playoffs, which, you know it's

01:16fair play to them, but from our point of view that was a real opportunity for us, whether

01:21they were off it today, their team, they've been on a bad run, it was a great opportunity

01:26from the start of the game for us to get three points, and we didn't do it because we didn't

01:29take chances and then we gifted goals, and they gave us everything second half, and we

01:35knocked on the door and we hit the bar, and we've got back in it with a penalty, and it

01:42was all too little too late, it's the start of the game that matters, and when you don't

01:46put the ball in the net, you're not going to win games, sorry, if you don't keep it

01:51out of the net, you know the other chances are always going to come, so we can keep clean

01:55sheets, which I don't think we've done for ages, which is a shame because the lads have

01:59defended really well in the last couple of games, and I thought we'd turned a corner

02:33and the amount that didn't fall to us in the box is, you know, it's people being alert

02:38to be fair, either if you're defending or attacking, if you're alert and you know where

02:43the ball's going to go, that's something you need to have.

02:49And at half-time, obviously, you would have told them to keep at it, and it was almost

02:55wave after wave in that sense.

02:56Yeah, I was disappointed, and I raised my voice a little bit, which I don't usually

03:02do, and Vic went through things tactically, because there were a couple of things that

03:05people had, and they said they knew what they were doing, but they had and took on board,

03:09they did it for the first five minutes and then stopped doing it.

03:13Yeah, you know, I always felt, we said if we get a goal, they're on a bad run of form,

03:18so you get a goal, they might panic a little bit, and I thought they defended well, they

03:24defended set pieces well, they got a bit more height than us.

03:29Keeper getting sent off in the last few minutes could have created, but we didn't have enough

03:50six, and ball went out of play a few times.

04:00I think Jaheim tore their right back, although their right back scored two today, I think

04:05two, I thought Jaheim tore him apart the whole game.

04:08Kai was good, there were some good performances, really good performances, it's just unfortunate

04:12defensively we didn't defend as well as we have done in the last couple.

04:16Yeah, and Finn up front was lively, obviously, and then he won the penalty and stuck it away.

04:21Yeah, yeah, I mean he's a nuisance.

04:24He's been good, he's getting fitter, he's not cramping up as early anymore, so it's

04:29a heavy pitch as well.

04:31He would have benefited from that, I think, I'm not sure on the second one, but I don't

04:35know if it was going in or not, but it was a massive deflection from our angle, it didn't,

04:39I don't know, he's hit it well, to be fair, and he's hit the penalty well.

04:43He has made a difference, because he's lively, which is what you need if you're a forward.

04:47I thought they were slow at the back, he constantly put them under pressure, we could have done

04:52it a bit more, I think, and that was one of the things we wanted to have talked about

04:57at half-time.

04:58Yeah, what's the sort of feeling in the changing room after the game?

05:02Because obviously, say, second half, you've sort of really gone at them again, and as

05:06I say, the chances were there to win the game today.

05:09Yeah, it's disappointment, because obviously we've had a good win and a good draw, and

05:14I felt this was, with the form that they're on, I thought this was a winnable game at

05:18home, and they're disappointed.

05:20The only positive you can tell on it is, it's a team I look at and go, do you know what,

05:25we ain't, I'm not even going to say we're far off on points-wise, and looking at the

05:31two teams, I couldn't look at them and go, I'd have him, I'd have him, I'd have him.

05:37I didn't, and that's honest, and whether that's them week in, week out, I don't know, because

05:41you don't get the points they've got by being like that, so we can't think that that's how

05:46they are every week.

05:47But today, on what I saw today, we were, in my opinion, better than them, but we didn't

05:54get three points, so it's a bit of a, it's one of them cliches, and we're down the bottom

05:59for a reason, so you can't keep saying we were better than them, but today I did feel

06:02we were better.

06:03Yeah, and just want to now, quick turnaround, Tuesday, Reina's lane at home, really want

06:09to target that one, obviously you've got a point there, and you've had a couple of good

06:13results recently.

06:13Yeah, obviously we know what they're about, in terms of what they've got financially,

06:18and what I'm hearing is ridiculous at the minute, so it'll be a tough game, because

06:23they've got individual players who have played a good level of football, got good quality,

06:28but when we went there, I thought we were a better team, we had a better way of playing

06:32than they did, although I thought the first 20 minutes, they were good, like you could

06:36see the players had played a good level, and we grew back into the game, but again, we

06:40went 2-0 down against them, so it was only one way we could go, so I'm sure they'll be

06:46a completely different, they made a lot of changes, a lot of new players, from when we

06:50played them before, I think, so it won't be the same game, I don't know how they've

06:55done today, oh no, did they get called off today?

06:58Sure, yeah.

06:59I think they were playing Binfield, weren't they?

07:02So they haven't played today, we're young enough and fit enough to be able to cope with

07:07two heavy pitches, I would say, so we'll go into that with the same confidence, because

07:14there's no, it's disappointing to lose today, but we're competing well at the minute, and

07:19looking like we should be winning games, or at least getting something out of them.
