At the iHeartRadio Music Awards carpet, Ariana Madix chats with THR about being nominated for her performance on Broadway. Plus, she teases the upcoming season of Love Island USA and calls this summer a "Gaga Mayhem Summer."

00:03What was your reaction when you found out about this nomination?

00:06I couldn't really believe it because when you look at the list of names that are

00:10also nominated for the category, I was like, how am I here?

00:14It's crazy. No, it's really, really amazing.

00:17What's coming up for you that you're excited about? I feel like you have been

00:21so booked and busy.

00:22So we have a new season of Love Island coming up. I'm so excited to go back for

00:26that.

00:27I absolutely love the show. I think it's such an incredible study in

00:31sociology and relationships and it's such a successful dating show. You look

00:36at these people who met last year, they're still together and they have

00:39these loving, beautiful, amazing relationships and I'm very proud of it.

00:44I'm very excited to go back.

00:45I've been asking people today, Brat Summer is coming up. Brat Summer was last

00:50summer, but what kind of vibes are we manifesting for this summer coming up?

00:53I do like Brat Summer.

00:58No, this is Mayhem Summer.

01:01Oh, yes, Lady Gaga.

01:04That's what it is.

01:05Of course, she's receiving the Innovator Award today.

01:08What's your favorite Lady Gaga song?

01:10Oh my God, Summer Boy, Heavy Metal Lover.

01:16I've been a huge Gaga fan for a very, very long time.

01:22Judas, Alejandro, the list goes on and obviously on the new album,

01:27Abracadabra is incredible.

01:29I love, love, love the song, but I think that Disease, listen, I love Lady

01:35Gaga.
