00:00It we begin with two top 10 teams in the country and the one

00:05verse four in the SEC tournament. It is the Auburn

00:08Tigers and the Tennessee Volunteers a spread that has

00:12been on the climb overnight as Auburn money and over money has

00:16been hitting three and a half up to four and a half and I think

00:19some five and a half starting to pop as well late night 137 and a

00:24half we saw this listed total up to 140 and a half now across

00:29all books for those that don't know, Tennessee's my last hope

00:34on the take five. Apparently should have just went out there

00:37wrote the word chalk and moved on with a lot of way these

00:39conference tournaments played out at the upper echelon here. I

00:44believe that Tennessee has a very, very real chance to win

00:48this game. What's almost made me more concerned and I know this

00:55but Auburn played so poorly overall against Ole Miss off of

01:01consecutive losses to close the regular season for Tennessee to

01:06win again. We didn't have to really wonder about where

01:11Auburn is at relative to what they have been throughout this

01:15year. And while I think Tennessee can win this game. Am

01:19I overreacting to say Joe that if Auburn loses this one,

01:24there's got to be a level of panic around the title. I'm

01:28with you. And we talked about, you know, dominating in terms of

01:31the regular season up until a couple of weeks about a week

01:35ago, they had won 20 of the last 22 games and then you have back

01:38to back losses against top 10 opponents in terms of Texas.

01:42Well, Texas A&M was top 25. They lose to Texas A&M and then they

01:46lose in overtime to Bama by two but then you're starting to

01:49search for an identity right? A broom was hot and cold during

01:53that span. It's like they came out, they let their guard down

01:56and then all of a sudden, we're just walking through the

01:58motions, right? They got the bad game out of their system. To

02:01your point, you look at yesterday shot 45% from the

02:04field 28 from three point range. You need a better effort

02:07against Tennessee today to pick up the victory and get the

02:10cover. So I'm with you. I like Auburn tonight, right? But

02:13they're playing a hot team in Tennessee that's won six of the

02:16last seven coach by 7.1 points per game. I like Auburn but if

02:21they do in fact lose this game, I then have concerns big

02:25picture about them being the best team in the country and

02:28then them having a confidence level heading into March

02:32Madness. Yeah, I mean, you know, we talk about getting your

02:34ugly games out of your system but when you have a bunch of

02:37ugly games in a row, then you start to panic a little bit

02:40because you're waiting for that bounce back and I just think

02:43Rick Barnes team is a hard team to go ahead and do this from.

02:45If you look at the the metric, you look at Ken Palm, the way

02:48that these teams are, you know, three versus twelve and

02:51adjusted the defense. You look at ten twelve versus one. It

02:55would affect the field goal percentage defense. You look at

02:58the fact that neither team is really, you know, in regards to

03:02pace. You look at the fact that I know Danai Broom, no Danai

03:05Broom first game, 5351 early in the year. This game has a rock

03:09fight written all over. I know the number's climbing but as a

03:12coach, I'm going the other way. I think this game is gonna be

03:15really tight. I don't think either team gets away from each

03:18other and I think it's gonna be a slow down half court game

03:22because I think Rick Barnes knows that's the way he's gonna

03:25play it and I think honestly, I think if you look at the way

03:29they play offensively, if you are, you know, you're not gonna

03:32wanna run too much of your Auburn and your Bruce Pearl. So,

03:35I think this game settles itself into the half court. I think for

03:38me, I'm very interested. So, I again, I I wish I bet the 137

03:42and a half last night. That would have done nothing for our

03:44audience though in a way. So, I guess I'm glad I didn't. I I

03:47look at the over from uh uh just the total perspective

03:51here. This number is moved probably way too much off of

03:55the recent Auburn struggles. I think I may settle in on a

03:59Tennessee team total. As somebody who again bet the

04:02Vols to win the SEC, I think they can get this game. I think

04:04if you're Auburn and you're struggling on the offensive

04:06side of the basketball, the last thing you were looking to

04:09see is Tennessee. That's not a get right spot by you. Hey,

04:12where's Bama? Let's just run up and down the court and score

04:14ninety-five and see you as the ball last kind of thing. I I

04:18think I'll likely settle in on that Tennessee team total.
