00:00Mactan-Cebu International Airport is known as the best airport in Asia-Pacific.

00:05And it's not just because of its service to passengers,

00:09Airport Council International World also gave it glory.

00:13Jesse Atienza is in the center of the news.

00:18The expansion and modernization of Mactan-Cebu International Airport was fruitful.

00:23It was named as the best airport in the category

00:27with under 5 to 15 million passengers per annum.

00:30The Airport Service Quality Award was also awarded

00:34by the Airport Council International.

00:37The award was given because travelers are content with customer service.

00:58According to the Mactan-Cebu International Airport Authority,

01:01the recognition is a big thing.

01:03Moreover, the modernization of their facility continues.

01:27but also our airport.

01:28And we are now a connectivity hub.

01:31We can connect to more places in the country,

01:35tourism hubs through Cebu.

01:38And, you know, we just hope that it will make Cebuanos proud.

01:44In 2024, more than 11 million passengers will arrive at Mactan-Cebu International Airport
