00:00In other news, the OFW Center was able to build the Department of Migrant Workers,

00:07which is the private sector of the OFW Center in Mactan, Cebu International Airport.

00:14According to the DMW, this will serve as a one-stop service hub,

00:19where they will receive services and verification of pre-departure documents,

00:27such as exit clearance and emergency assistance when leaving and returning to their country.

00:36According to Migrant Worker Secretary Hans Leo Katnak,

00:42the OFW Center in MCIA is not just a facility,

00:48but also a recognition of the important role of OFWs in the country.

00:53This place will serve to help our countrymen and their families.

01:01This partnership brings us closer to our OFWs arriving and departing

01:10out of Mactan, Cebu International Airport Authority.

01:14We have a presence there, the DMW, to provide all types of services.

01:20We're going to encourage all of the OFW-related centers to also set up shop in Cebu

01:29and try to make Cebu really an OFW hub as well.
