00:00According to the Central Bank of the Philippines, the rise of foreign investment in the country last year

00:07according to the data of the BSP, the foreign direct investment of the Philippines increased to 8.93 billion U.S. dollars in 2024.

00:16This is higher than the estimated 8.92 billion in 2023.

00:22According to the Central Bank of the Philippines, the so-called FDI net is an equity capital,

00:27reinvestment of earnings, and borrowings.

00:30Among the investors are Japan, United Kingdom, United States, and Singapore.

00:36Most of the said investments are from the manufacturing, real estate, and information and communication sectors.
