00:00Almost 60% of Filipinos are content with the leadership of President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr.

00:10Joshua Garcia's report on the country's latest news is the detail of the survey.

00:16The administration of Marcos maintained its good satisfaction rating

00:20despite the challenges faced by the country in the past year.

00:24According to the survey conducted by the Social Weather Station of December, 2024,

00:2859% of Filipinos are happy with the leadership of President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr.

00:34While the number of Filipinos who are not happy decreased by 1%,

00:38from 24% in September to 23% in the same month.

00:42Because of this, the net satisfaction rating of the administration of Marcos is positive 36,

00:48which is considered by the SWS as good, just like the rating it received in September of the past year.

00:54According to the survey,

00:55the highest satisfaction rating of the administration of Marcos, which is 65%

01:01in the number of government programs conducted by Filipinos,

01:04is helping victims of calamity, improving education,

01:08prioritizing the poor, increasing jobs,

01:10and the development of innovation and technology.

01:13While some of the programs of the current administration received a good rating,

01:18such as housing, food security, transportation, and others.

01:22Meanwhile, it was reported by a low score

01:25in relation to inflation that has a net satisfaction rating of negative 12.

01:30While the moderate rating in the prevention of families from starvation

01:34has a positive 26 in the net satisfaction.

01:36The reported rating on issues related to the fight against crime is neutral,

01:41especially against the manipulation of the price of oil and the removal of trust.

01:45In total, only 17% were reported not happy,

01:49while 23% said they were not happy.

01:53The survey was conducted on 2,160 respondents across the country

01:57through face-to-face interviews from December 12 to December 18, 2024.
